Good Waterproof Smart Watch & Fitness Tracker

I had the Garmin VivoActive 4S for 4 years & was looking for a replacement as a didn’t need an upgradr in features. The VA 5 is a good, „well-rounded“ option for fitness entusiastd who have a diverse fitness regime and need multiple activity tracking options. The new AMOLED screen is a nice upgrade as well. Elevates the user experience.Would recommend to anyone who wants a waterproof, good-looking, functional fitness tracker with smart watch capabilities.

I am a regular user of Garmin products. Bike computer, speed sensor and cadenceThis Vivoactive 5 replaced a previous Vivoactive 4.The displays are better. Battery life is better. My only concerns is size. The watch is smaller and I think contributes to inaccurate heart rate readings when cycling.Time spent riding in the drops seems to create pressure on watch k

    Love it but…

Wish I got the garmin forerunner165. Love this watch it just isn’t meeting my needs and I missed the return window. The battery life is also getting shorter and shorter which I’ve never heard of. Definitely get what you pay for and is very easy to use. Also fits good and is lightweight.

    It gets the job done.

I made the switch to Garmin after being a Fitbit user for years. There are certain aspects with this watch that are far superior to the Fitbit (the detailed sleep tracking and breakdown of workouts/runs) but there are also things that are much more complicated than they need to be (workout rep counter for one example). There are times that I just want to do a simple workout, maybe it is a body weight circuit and I haven’t found the best way to track that on this watch. I do love the Body Battery feature and use it often to gauge where I am at throughout the day. I am still adjusting to the new style and features of the watch, but I am liking it so far throughout this first month or so.I will say that the GPS has been very accurate and a big improvement from the Fitbit that I was using previously. I have found the battery life to be pretty similar to my Fitbit, so that has not been an issue. Overall, I like this watch and would purchase it again.

    Great Watch

This replaced a Fitbit Versa 2 that I had been using to track my walks. The Fitbit was very unreliable – always losing the Bluetooth connection to my iPhone, hit or miss uploads to Strava. The Vivoactive 5 has been solid, does everything that you want and more. I now get more functionality from the Garmin Connect app than I did just using my Garmin 830 Edge Bike computer. All the sleep and activity tracking may not be critical for my purposes, but it’s good stuff to know. It’s nice to see the time, date, HR and steps at a glance, and all the other info is a swipe or two away. It’s lightweight and comfortable. I’ve been wearing it 24/7, curious to see what it comes up for my long term trends. Very pleased with the purchase (and the price), and good riddance to the Fitbit.

    Great

I’m not a watch guy. Wanted something to check texts, date and weather without having to take my phone out. This watch is awesome, I find my self using some of the health stuff on it. The watch itself is a great size. It’s not like the other bulky smart watches I’ve seen. My wrist is on the small size and no issues with this watch. Button response is good. Screen response is good. No complaints from me.

    Vivoactive 5 does the job.

I now know why it’s called a smart watch–you have to be smart to use this watch. Be prepared to sit down for a couple hours to familiarize yourself with all the features and figure out which ones you’re going to use regularly. Familiarize yourself with the Connect IQ app so you learn which settings matter for you, also. I initially purchased a Forerunner 55 with a 1.04″ 208×208 pixel screen. Nope! Too small, too dim, not touchscreen. The Vivoactive 5 is 1.2″ 390×390 pixel screen. It pops, easy to read in direct sunlight and touchscreen is definitely the way to go. I paid $300 which made me a little queezy (you can get a decent laptop for $300) but definitely worth it. Used the run app yesterday and worked great. Used the swim app today and it worked great. As for the music/phone stuff, I’m connected enough that I don’t want my watch nagging me, too, so you’re on your own on that. As for Body Battery and Sleep monitor, I don’t need a watch pretending it knows when I’m feeling tired so those apps are at the bottom.

    Watch is excellent!

Positive – watch is really good and provides/records all the data needed.Good battery performance. I have been using it since 3 months now, so far very satisfied.Display is great too.Issue – I had to change the belt and switch to a breathable fabric belt as the belt that comes with the watch is not breathable.Value for money product.

A Fitness Companion that Exceeds Expectations!

Well it is finally charging day so a great time to leave my review for my Vivoactive 😁I’ve been using the Garmin Vivoactive 5 for a while now, and it has truly exceeded my expectations in several key areas. One of the standout features for me is the impressive battery life. It’s amazing not having to worry about constant charging, especially during long workouts or busy days. The comfort and lightness of the watch make it a joy to wear all day. It’s so lightweight that I often forget I have it on. The design is sleek and minimal, adding to the overall comfort and making it suitable for any occasion.Ease of use is another big win for the Vivoactive 5. Navigating through the menus and accessing different features is incredibly intuitive. Even the built-in coach feature, although I haven’t explored it fully yet, adds another layer of functionality that I’m excited to try in the future. The activity and sleep tracking capabilities have been a game-changer for me. It’s like having a personal assistant dedicated to my health and fitness goals. I particularly appreciate the accurate rep count during workouts – it’s a small detail that makes a big difference in my training routine. One aspect that sets this model apart for me is the absence of calls and texts. It helps me stay focused on my activities without unnecessary distractions. It’s a thoughtful inclusion that aligns perfectly with my fitness mindset. However, if I were to nitpick, the only area I find lacking is the variety of watch bands. I hope Garmin considers introducing more fun and interchangeable bands in the future. It would be a fantastic way to customize the look and feel of the watch.Overall, the Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a fantastic product that has seamlessly integrated into my daily life. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and packed with features that enhance my fitness journey. I’m excited to see what future updates and band options Garmin has in store. Highly recommended!

    Great Information for POTS

I bought this watch because I have to be careful about sudden changes in heart rate and a concern about passing out. The Garmin does so much more but by wearing it, I am better able to manage heart rate changes and understand how to control this changes. This has been critical to getting back to a normal life. I also have piece of mind that should I fall it will send a notification to my emergency contacts and my location, as long as I have my phone with me. It also measures quality of sleep, steps, intensity, pulse ox, body battery and more. The phone app can help you track hydration and there are built in activities, challenges and tracking of those activities. Great watch!

I love this thing. Not the least expensive, but probably the best bang for the buck.

I’m someone who really really did not want a watch of any sort, especially not an Apple Watch or anything else that is bloated with unnecessary hardware that needs to be charged every single day. Charging a phone every day is enough of a pain without needing to add any other junk, so no thanks to the useless gimmick-loaded “smart” watches. But I really needed to do fitness tracking because without some sort of gadget I just have zero idea how lazy or not lazy I’ve been lately and whether or not I need to get at least some minimal exercise. And my #1 must have feature is week-long battery charge life. This watch is good enough, even though the battery life might be more like 5 days in some cases if you’re using it for activities a lot where the gps is turned on. But for those not running with the gps every day or constantly tinkering with it a full battery charge seems to last a week. That is, charge it for an hour on Sunday and no need to charge it again until the same time next Sunday. You could get the battery to last longer if you’re willing to shut off absolutely everything that might use more power.I started out with a Garmin vivosmart 5 because I didn’t think I needed anything beyond that, but I have sleep problems and decided I needed better sleep tracking. So I ended up with this one even though I don’t really care about random silly “apps” on a watch.Overall this watch has been excellent. It has a very good UI and the fitness tracking features a quite good. The sleep tracking is decent, but still has its issues that hopefully Garmin will fix with software updates. In particular the “nap tracking” doesn’t seem fully baked yet, and things like laying back in a recliner reading a book or watching TV can get falsely detected as a “nap”. Then there’s no way to delete a false nap on the watch or in the Garmin Connect app. There are still a few minor bugs that some people will run into but they seem to be things that can be fixed with firmware updates and I haven’t run into anything completely feature-breaking.If you feel like messing with it you can also install some “apps” like custom watch face designs or sunset/sunrise times, more detailed weather and such. But even without installing anything the watch does everything needed for health and fitness stuff.Almost all of the apps that come with the device can be uninstalled, so if you don’t need “women’s health tracking” for example then you can just remove that to free up space.Their mobile app is pretty well designed and only awkward in some parts of the configuration. The watch reliably synchronizes as long as you leave the phone app running in the background and I’ve never had any Bluetooth connection failures, lag, or lost pairings.Things that the watch is not good for are things that you’d typically use a phone for like communication, turn by turn navigation, maps, games, and such. But I don’t want a watch to do any of that stuff and I’d rather have it save its battery charge so I don’t have to charge it constantly. So overall, this is “the” watch you want if you want as little nonsense as possible and don’t want to worry about battery charge all the time but still need full health and fitness tracking stuff beyond what the $75-150 models offer. And there are also no subscriptions required.

    Superb health monitoring watch

After extensive research my wife and I purchased the Garmin Vivoactive 5. It’s now been a couple months wearing them 24/7 and we are extremely pleased! The watch is a precision instrument that reliably measures so many body metrics as well as fun things like the weather, emails and text messages, that you can also respond to. The brilliant display is absolutely beautiful and battery life is stellar. We charge once a week on Sunday mornings and there is always 30% or more charge left so the manufacturer’s claim of up to 11 days is pretty close. The GPS feature will drain the battery quicker, but it is only used on specific settings where distance and a tracking map is desired. We chose the Vivoactive 5 over the Garmin Venue 3 because it is thinner, lighter, and smaller. We did not need the microphone, speaker, and EKG feature on the Venue, also the heart rate sensor on the vivoactive 5, although not as elaborate as the Venue, is still state of the art and functions flawlessly. We are 100% glad we chose the vivoactive 5 over everything else we looked at. The health benefits of having this watch have been substantial for us. Being able to actually look at graphs and charts of sleep patterns, hydration, heart rate, stress, etc etc have given us great insight into adjusting our daily life. We really appreciate the technology, ease of use and the quality built-in by Garmin.

    Major upgrade over Vivoactive 4S

Fit: I have very small wrists – about 6.25” circumference – especially for a guy. I was initially concerned that the larger face versus the Vivoactive 4S might look clunky. But it is thinner and sits closer on the wrist, so it’s actually better. Sleeves don’t catch as easily and it’s very comfortable.Display: The AMOLED display is sharp and vibrant – very easy to read. I like that I can set it to stay on all the time so that I can glance at the time like a regular watch. In low power mode the watch face is still very clear.Features: Sleep tracking is as good as the Fitbit I used to have, maybe better. Fitness tracking and activities are easy to use and seem quite accurate. Heart rate monitoring accuracy is reasonably close to the Polar chest strap.Battery life: I charge it every few days, and I don’t think it has ever gone below 45%. Usually on the second or third day, it’s around 60% or 70%. With the display always on and other features active, I don’t think I’d get 11 days between charges, but that rating assumes you’re just in smart watch mode all the time. Battery life is more than adequate.Overall, a very good smart watch/fitness monitor. I like simple, straightforward design and features, and this one is great!

    Love it till now!

The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is great for keeping track of calories throughout the day. It’s easy to use and looks sleek on your wrist. However, it’s a bummer that it doesn’t have built-in GPS, which is a letdown for outdoor workouts. Still, it gives you helpful insights into your daily activity. Overall, it’s a decent fitness tracker with some limitations. I still have not tested out the music feature, as I take my phone with me on run or cycling. But as far as I know, it works well. Sleep score is one of the helpful feature for me also.

Great watch for running or walking and listening to music!

I don’t write reviews, but Garmin’s Vivoactive 5 smart watch really impressed me and I wanted to pass on my comments. I wanted a watch I could listen to music and podcasts on while running, walking, or hiking. I started with a fenix 6X pro, which was great except it was like wearing a brick on your wrist. I tried a „renewed“ Venu SQ music, but it kept stopping and resetting multiple times during a run. With a myriad of other choices in the Garmin lineup, I tried the Vivoactive 5 and it’s a keeper! Why? First, it does what I want (run, music) with an easy menu system. Second, it has a large (1.5″) watch face which my old eyes appreciate. Third, the battery lasts over a week, even while using the GPS and music features. I’ve discovered other things I like about this watch I never thought about, but now can’t live without. Every morning when I wake up, it gives me the weather, my „body battery,“ and sleep efficiency. When I get messages, I just look at my watch now instead of pulling out my phone. It also reminds me to get out of my easy chair and be more active. Finally, I enjoy changing the watch face every so often to a new screen or with different data. All this for less than $250! The only modification I made was a different wrist band. The original seemed a bit flimsy and the end would catch on my clothes. The new one (pictured) is sturdy and tucks into itself for a smooth look and fit.

    Nice watch

The battery life was not as long as I expected. Garmin advertises 11 days but I get about 7 and that’s with the display set to the low setting. That’s on par with ny old Vivoactive HR from years ago. Initially, I had problems with not being able to change the watch face not and called Garmin for help and sent a video. They agreed that I had followed the directions but was still unable to get to to change. I was about to return the watch when It suddenly starting working. I think there is a software feature connected to the sleep mode that prohibited me from changing the watch face because my ability to change the watch face was time dependent. It works fine now and I have not had the problem since. Other than that, the watch is very good and I’m happy with it. It has a lot of features that I like including GPS, sleep tracking, body battery, stress monitor, Heart rate, Abnormal heart rate monitoring, health snapshot, Music controls, respiration, and Pulse Ox monitoring. Nice Watch

Loved it and then I didnt

So starting out I loved my Garmin. The health tracking, being able to have notifications on my wrist without being by my phone, the battery lasted several days at a time. All that was awesome. The watch said it needed 30-60 days of tracking to be able to properly give data so I kept the watch for close to 3 months. My first thing I realized with the watch that made me question my purchase was inaccuracy of the heart rate monitor. I didn’t realize it at first because I got the watch specifically for keeping track of my heart rate and sleep (with heart rate being a concern), but I noticed that it was frequently telling me my heart rate was pretty high compared to what I was use to seeing. Eventually, I started measuring my heart rate with a separate device when I noticed my watch seemed off and confirmed that it was saying my heart rate was 7-10 bpm higher than it actually was. This was while wearing the watch at what I considered to be a comfortable tightness. I tightened the watch more and from there, although a bit tight, it did read correctly. Unfortunately, leaving the watch this tight caused my skin to become irritated and start becoming red and scarring under the watch since I wore it to bed and full time every day.The second thing I realized is that there’s very little customization in regards to the smart watch features. The app has the ability to set in watch alarms, but you can’t name the alarms yourself. You are only able to select from a drop down list that includes things like „wake up, bed time, reminder“ etc. This isn’t helpful if you’re like me and need several different alarms reminders throughout the day because just saying „reminder“ will not cut it.If setting an alarm from my phone, the watch only says „clock“ as a notification alert and not an actual alarm on the watch itself. The third and final straw was when I began questioning the accuracy of the sleep tracking and suggestions in the app based on my sleep. This concern was confirmed when one night I left my watch on my desk for the night to give my irritated wrist a break and got up to find that the watch had recorded 4 hours of sleep data including different phases of the sleep cycle while I was not wearing it. The watch is supposed to be using your body to tell when you sleep and what phase of sleep your in so I’m not sure what it would have been tracking while sitting on my desk all night.I originally chose the Garmin because I believed that it would have more accurate health tracking than other smart watches since that’s what Garmin is known for. Health tracking is a very important feature to me, so my results with this device were disappointing, but the smartwatch features lacking turned out to be a major issue for me as well. I didn’t expect it to be as fancy as other watches, but at a bare minimum I need alarm customization. That being said, the cost of the watch is not worth the features it provides. I ended up returning and getting a Samsung watch 6 for less and have had a much better experience with it overall both in regards to health tracking and customization. If the Garmin watch were $150 I would consider that a fair price for the device, but not more than that considering the advancements of other watches at this time that have price points under $300.

Almost a perfect smart watch except the charger

I’ve had this Garmin watch for a few months now. Before purchasing this, I had several fitness bands and smartwatches. This one is the best I have gotten so far in terms of functionality and reliability. It’s almost a perfect product to me except one thing: the charger. Most other fitness bands and smartwatches all have magnet-based charger connector, so it’s easy to connect and charge. But this one comes with a special 4-pin physical connector that looks and works like an older micro-USB connector which you have to push hard into the female socket on the watch. I don’t know if it is designed to work for both sides but I often have to plug and unplug a couple of times to ensure it’s working. Sometimes it loses connection after I move the watch slightly. I feel that I may break it anytime soon. In comparison, the magnet-based connectors are so much easier to use and causes no mechanical wear & tear. So why does not Garmin use it instead of this old-style connector? I hope they’ll fix it soon, and I’d be happily rate it with 5 stars.

I’m still learning some of the features but it has most of the functions I used on my Apple watch at a lower price. I especially appreciate not having to charge it every day. It does not have a GPS function so the steps on my watch and Apple phone do not synch up.

Great watch but stopped working after 1 month

The day after the last return date the watch stopped tracking my heart rate. The light on the bottom stopped. There’s no trick or anything to do to get it working again. It was never dropped, not even a scratch or submerged in water. Luckily, Amazon support was able to help me out and allowed me to return, get a refund and just now placed another order. Hopefully, it was just the luck of the draw that I had a bad one. I had another Garmin watch that I wore for about 3 years before this. So hoping for better experience this time.

    I love Garmin watches

Bought this to replace the vivoactive 3 that i had for 4 years because battery life diminished. My gripes are I don’t think that sleep tracking and body battery is accurate and why did they remove the altimeter. But other than that, sport tracking is great. HR and other body measurements are good. But part of the watch is that they allow others to create watch faces. I have found a few that look and work amazing.

I made the leap from Apple

I have been an apple watch person for more than a decade now and wanted to get something that could hold up to a little more „life.“ I love the longer battery life and activity tracking. I feel like this is more accurate than my apple watch, and because the battery is awesome, I can actually use the sleep tracker instead of having to charge every night. I am still getting used to the gestures and buttons, but I am one happy camper!

Love watch, charger broke within a month

I am fairly new to this watch. I have had it for around 3 weeks. I purchased it bc I was sick of my fitbit devices dying after 1-1.5yrs. I am hoping this will last longer. Unfortunately the charger has already broken and battery life is not 11 days. I love that it tracks my sleep, sleep quality, steps, water intake, and pulse. I haven’t figured out the stress gauge as even on Xmas vacation I am considered „stressed.“ I did like that my fitbit had preset responses for text messages. (I havent figured out if I can get my texts on this device but that isnot a deal breaker for me.) After being without a fitness watch for an extended time period I am thankful to have one again and love the replaceable wrist bands as silicone always results in rashes but the metal bands are great.

Replaced my 2017 Vivoactive HR. This is a great upgrade

Only wish the band was larger… I have thick wrists… no option for a larger band from this seller

    So far so good

The downside that I’ve noticed is that the battery actually drains too quickly, you have to put it on sleep mode and do not disturb to avoid wasting battery. It got frozen one time and when I do connected to the power cord it did not show the charging sign.Just a few downsides and considering the price I will give it 3 starsBesides that’s, So far so good I hope that it can last for a long time.

A Great Screen Overshadowed by Bluetooth Problems

This is a replacement for my Vivoactive 4S due to that watch’s slowly diminishing battery life. However, the improvements between the Vivoactive 3 and 4 are much more than between the 4 and 5. The definite highlight of the 5 is the screen is much better for daylight viewing. For running, which is all I used this for besides step counting, there’s very little to any noticeable difference from the 4S. I would give it another star if Garmin can fix the Bluetooth via update.Connecting headphones only to listen to music is fine and works great. During any workout requiring GPS tracking, however, and the music is like listening to a skipping CD player. I had to wear my 4S for music and my 5 for activity tracking during a half marathon because I couldn’t take 2 hours of music skipping/dropping in my ears.

Nice if it weren’t for sync issues

I bought this watch for my wife and it’s nice, but there’s a constant issue of the watch not syncing or losing connection to her Pixel 8 phone. We’ve gone through resets and software upgrades, but we’ve only seen marginal improvements.Update: we had to return the watch. There was too much Bluetooth inconsistency for such a high price tag.

Company updates can be a pain

Overall, this watch is everything Apple should be! It does great at tracking sleep patterns, heart rate, and the customization is perfect for the very-active to lounger. The one drawback is the random shutdowns and the process to get the watch to turn back out. It seems like a software issue with Garmin, that hopefully, they’re working on a patch for.

    Overall great watch

I wore it hand to hand with Samsung 6 watch and the readings were pretty much the same! The difference was just about 50 steps or 100 calories which makes me confident in both watches but I choose Garmin for personal convenience. It syncs with my calorie tracking app and its 100 bucks cheaper so I got the winner:) the battery life is amazing too ,after a whole week it shows 50% battery left! The only downside is that it doesn’t track calories .I would ideally like my tracker to calculate the deficit between cals in and out which I know fitbit does. I highly recommend this watch.

    Nice display, amazing battery

Beautiful bright display, light and comfortable feel, battery lasts over a week. Great interface, both on the app and watch face. Heart rate seems very accurate and the morning update feature is actually interesting and somehow refreshing.Wish I had bought this sooner. It’s really worth the price after using $20 – $40 watches for a couple years. Those were very inaccurate for heart rate, uncomfortable on my wrist, and had trash UIs.Battery goes down about 9% a day using constant monitoring, display not always on, and no GPS. From my research, none of the competitors came close to this, so I’m happy to see the real world results match the advertising.Overall, I’m very pleased after the first few days…will update this if anything changes.Update: After a couple months, still very happy and wish I’d bought it sooner. Battery lasts about 11-12 days every charge with out of the box settings (medium/auto brightness) and low GPS usage. Also the thickness measures 0.436 inch for most of the body and 0.492 inch at the heart rate monitor area (about 3/4 inch diameter). [Using digital calipers with high repeatability] I have had zero comfort issues, whereas I noticed my previous watch often at night.Last note: „Body battery“ is a feature that I question but it’s not hurting anything if it’s wrong. Just seems arbitrary to assign a ‚battery level‘ to a human based on sleep and steps/heart/whatever.

    Excellent for fitness tracking

So far I really like this watch. Fitness and sleep tracking are amazing. I use my watch to help me with my workouts. It’s helped me get through a bunch of really good workouts. Runs are tracked well. All in all this is the best fitness watch I’ve ever had tho I also don’t care as much about the ’smartwatch‘ features

    Accurate tracking

So far had this watch for a couple of weeks. Loving the results so far! Tracking seems to be more accurate compared to other tracking devices that I had used in the past. Mainly using this to track my steps, HP, and sleep. Battery seems to last for me around 6-7 days. Charges well with the charger it had come with. Easy to use! Touch screen works perfectly. Worn this swimming for a bit and no damage to the watch. Is water resistant. Quality of watch is excellent! Only thing I changed out is the watch band to a more comfortable nylon one and use also a screen protector/ case to protect the watch screen from getting scratched.

Major Setup Issues, but Solid Wearable

So the potential unique to me: Outer box came very damaged, possibly already opened. Worse, product was in french with no automatic prompt to change it, so that took some fussing.Setup is trickier than I thought over multiple apps with pauses in it realizing what it had done and hadn’t done already. Oveerall though, very solid watch esp for the reduced price.

    Love it!

I like to hike and bike and enjoy tracking my progress. This works very well. I like that I can connect my Spotify playlists to it. I like the notifications from my phone, which I usually have with me, but put away, so it’s nice to be able to look and decide if I want to respond right away. The sleep and heart monitoring has been interesting and informative. I debated between this and the Apple Watch and at first was second guessing my choice but now that I’ve had it for awhile, I’m very pleased with my purchase. The battery lasts several days for me. I changed the band because I didn’t like the silicone, but replacements are readily available and inexpensive

    vivoactive 5…after 1 month

This was my first fitness/health watch and I decided to go with a Garmin due to a strong reputation and a large number of people at my gym who use one. Overall, they sounded happy so I decided to purchase one. Choosing which Garmin was a bit confusing given the number of options, capabilities, etc. I am a Crossfitter that also does some running to add variety to my workouts. I occasionally do 5K’s and even a few Spartan events each year. Having worn the vivoactive 5 for one month I do like it. It was a price point I was comfortable with, that allow me to determine what features I actually use and which ones I don’t. If I like it, I’ll likely upgrade in a few years and have a better feel for what I may need. The main downside is that this is not a „running“ watch. Features like maps, turn-by-turn directions, and pace pro don’t download to the watch. You can get good insights after your runs, but don’t expect this watch to offer the higher end running features during runs. I wasn’t totally clear on that when I purchased this watch, but since running is a fraction of my workouts, I’m working around it. If you are a serious runner, then the vivoactive 5 is not for you…go with a Forerunner model. I hope this review helps 🙂

    Garmin is King of smartwatch

It’s my fault for not researching it better, but…

The VivoActive 5 does not include a barometric altimeter, so it can’t track stairs. The VivoAcitve 4 did. Removing a useful feature is not something I expected for an upgrade. But at least the VivoActive 5 seems to have a useful SpO2 sensor, unlike the VivoActive 4.Also, when I deactivated the 4 and paired the 5, the Garmin app (Android) lost all the daily sleep data that it had from the previous device. I haven’t noticed anything else missing.

everything is perfect, except for the Run Pause screen

i love this watch. used it for half marathon training. battery life is great. its lightweight and durable.but the run „pause“ screen is driving me insane.idk what they were thinking when they decided to put discard and complete buttons at the edges of the screen. i have accidentally completed or discarded my runs at least 15 times. the location of them are so close to the „continue“ button on the right top corner. anytime i would pause and restart my run, high chance i will either discard or complete my run unintentionally.in the winter when my long sleeves would swipe on it, it would react and finish the run while im still in the middle of the run.i recently made it less reactive to touch screen so that helped a little.i opened tickets with garmin software team but they’ve been unresponsive. please improve this screen!!

Works, even for those with nickel allergy!

I’ve had a nickel allergy my whole life- so when I decided I wanted a fitness tracker with heart rate, my options were slim to none.I’m so pleasantly surprised to say that after a little research and a small piece of tape- this watch has worked amazingly! You can buy a cover for the charge port (which I did), but that leaves one small spot of metal (which might be hypoallergenic but didn’t really want to find out the hard way)- hence the tape. The body of the watch and the band it came with have been great, I’ve had it almost a week without any irritation.Also- their app is free, and has a decent interface. I did have one weird moment where the face would not light up but it was in some workout mode so I was kind of stuck in a loop not sure how to get out of it because I couldn’t see the prompts.Generally very satisfied and happy with my purchase! If you have a metal allergy like me- this is definitely worthy of a try!

I’m very happy with this watch but not including a charger is not cool

This is the best fitness tracker I have owned to date. But they lose 2 stars for not including a charger. I’m tired of tech companies doing this. I had to go out and spend more money just the complete package and I don’t think that is a fair thing after what I paid for this watch. My only other issue is the band seems super cheap for a watch that costs this much money. However it is a really good product.
