5.0 out of 5 stars A lifesaver for busy professionals with pets
As a busy female professional with a mischievous black cat in my 2-bedroom home, I can’t express enough how the Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omi Robot Vacuum and Mop has been a game-changer for my daily life. Let me break down my experience with this incredible appliance.Efficiency and Convenience (5/5):First and foremost, this robot vacuum and mop is a time-saving marvel. With my hectic work schedule, I barely have time to catch my breath, let alone clean my floors daily. However, the Deebot T20 Omi has been an absolute lifesaver. Its smart navigation system ensures that every inch of my home is cleaned thoroughly, from hardwood floors to carpets. Even with my cat’s tendency to shed, the Deebot leaves no pet hair behind. I can’t believe how much time I’ve saved thanks to this little helper. One of the standout features of the Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omi Robot Vacuum and Mop is its auto-emptying function. This innovation has made my life even more convenient. The robot vacuum autonomously empties its dustbin into the designated dock after each cleaning session, ensuring that I don’t have to worry about emptying it myself for weeks on end.Pet Hair Management (5/5):Speaking of pet hair, I was initially skeptical about how well the Deebot would handle it. But it’s been a pleasant surprise. With its strong suction power and specialized brushes, it effortlessly sucks up every last cat hair, ensuring my home looks clean and tidy at all times. This has greatly improved the air quality in my home, which is a big plus for both my health and my cat’s.Mopping Functionality (3/5):The mopping feature is a fantastic addition, especially in a home with a furry friend. It’s not as powerful as a manual mop, but it does a great job at tackling light spills and keeping the floors fresh between deep cleans. However, the water tank’s limited capacity can be a drawback, especially if you have a larger area to cover. You may find yourself needing to refill it multiple times during a single cleaning session, which can be a bit inconvenient.Quiet Operation (5/5):Considering my busy work-from-home schedule, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the Deebot is. It doesn’t disrupt my virtual meetings or disturb my cat’s napping sessions, making it a seamless addition to my daily routine.Smart Home Integration (5/5):The compatibility with my smartphone and voice assistant is a huge plus. I can schedule cleaning sessions while I’m away or simply ask my smart speaker to start cleaning when I’m in a rush. It’s incredibly convenient and adds another layer of control to fit my busy lifestyle.Maintenance (4/5):Maintaining the Deebot is straightforward, with easy-to-follow instructions in the manual. The only minor drawback is that the dustbin and water tank could be a tad larger for my liking, especially with a cat around. However, regular emptying and cleaning solve this issue.Price (4/5):It’s important to note that the Deebot T20 Omi is an investment, and while its performance justifies the cost for many users, it might not be within everyone’s budget. If you’re on a tight budget, there are more affordable robot vacuum options on the market. However, the features and convenience it offers may make it worthwhile for those who can stretch their budget a bit.In conclusion, the Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omi Robot Vacuum and Mop has become an indispensable part of my daily routine. It’s a savior for busy professionals like me who want to maintain a clean and pet-friendly home without sacrificing precious time. If you’re a fellow cat owner or just a busy individual, I highly recommend giving this smart vacuum and mop a try. It’s a worthy investment that has made my life significantly easier and my home a cleaner, more pleasant place to live. Just keep in mind the minor drawbacks when considering this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pros/Cons Features List for T20
* This has auto empty and I consider it a game changer.* Mopping – I have a dog so we bring in a lot of grime. Reviews show that there isn’t much difference between an agitating/vibrating mop head and rotating ones. However to me it just makes sense that a rotating mop is more effective, so that’s what I went with. It should also lift itself up so it’s not dragging around wet/dirty pads.* Onboard water tank (for mopping) – the T20 doesn’t have this. My primary thought on this is that this is one less thing that breaks or gets clogged. The T20 returns to its base for cleaning the mops and a soak. So this is probably not necessary. You can set the T20 to clean/soak the mop heads every 6, 10, or 15 mins. I set it to 6 minutes and when it returns to base the floors are still damp, so this is fine.* Auto drying – I’ve read about stinky mop heads because they were left wet. These mop heads are small and thin so I don’t see why they don’t dry overnight. OK fine I have this feature so no biggie.* Warm water washing – I haven’t tested this yet but supposedly the water heats to 55C and this is hot enough to kill things. At a minimum it helps clean the pads better than cold water.* Removable bay for cleaning- The T20 bay is fixed. You can pull out the filter to wash it but that’s it. It comes with an extendable brush for cleaning and you can manually fill it up with water brush it and suck it back to the dirty water container. Some of the other companies have a removable tray for rinsing off, this is nice.* Security cam – privacy issues aside, I really wanted a roaming security camera. Sadly the T20 doesn’t have this.* Noise – I don’t want it too noisy. Quiet and Standard are at a decent level. Strong and Max are approaching hand vac levels. I probably would not fall asleep with it in quiet mode in the adjacent room. Also I have not tested the effectiveness of quiet mode. That said, I’ll get in the habit of starting it when I leave for a dog walk making the noise it makes moot. The auto empty feature is plug in vacuum loud, fortunately it is only a few seconds. The mop washing is somewhat noisy, but not terrible.* Suction power – I need to do more testing between quiet and max. In my research I do know that I wanted in the range of 5000Pa. I’m guessing over this is negligible differences. In 2023 the T20 takes the lead with 6000Pa level of suction.* Pre-filter – in the dust bin there is the primary dust filter. In front of this is another layer of mesh helping keep the main filter clean. I like this idea and not many robots have it. The T20 has it. I believe Dreame also has this. From what I’ve read, roborock does not have a pre-filter.* Pop off brushes – The T20 side brushes are nylon push on type. The mop heads also push on. The floating main brush snaps in with two slider tabs. Very easy. I heard roborock uses screws for the side brushes. As an example my gf’s hair wrapped around the side brush and all I had to do was pop it off to remove the hair. Simple! My understanding is that silicone side brushes are more effective than the plastic/nylon type. I’ll note this as an upgrade option for later.* The T20 has a full rubber V shaped brush head. This is supposedly more resistant to hair tangling and good for hard floors.* Floor cleaner additive – I like the idea of having a canister of antibacterial cleanser. The Dreame and Narwal have this. The Omni bay has the space for it, but it’s blanked out. The T20 uses this section as storage.* Object avoidance – it seems that the rgb camera systems are best but pretty much everything in the > $500 point are about the same. “Generally ok.”* Customer Service – please note this is a single data point!! I emailed ecovacs and got a response next day. I sent Roborock two separate emails one 6/29 days ago and the other 7/3 days ago. No response.* The Omni bay is huge! Make sure you have the space for it and good luck hiding it. I prefer the narrower Dreame Ultra bay or the RR Revo bay.* The build quality is great. Despite the top not being on a hinge it is magnetic with a satisfying click in place.Ultimately this is a $1k luxury item. If you want all the bells and whistles then you can expect to be in this range. This is not the most expensive bot, but it’s certainly not cheap either!

4.0 out of 5 stars Mostly good
The media could not be loaded. Now that I have owned this over a year, I am updating my review.I continue to enjoy the Omni T20, but there are days it is incredibly frustrating.Pros: It does a great job of cleaning.-Easy to maintain with the app prompting you when it needs attention and how to clean it.-The app is 75% user friendly. This score because it often takes a half hour to fix a glitch see cons.-The clean and dirty water tanks hold a lot.-Through the app, you have a lot of control over how it cleans, such as, vac only, mop and vac, vac twice, mop only, standard, heavy, quiet, and so on.-The dust bag holds a lot, but wow is that thing loud when the vacuum empties into it.-The battery holds a long charge. I have a 1200 sq ft home. If I have it mop and vac the whole house, it takes several hours and will return to the station, once or twice to recharge. You have control over the frequency of returning to station to charge.-I like that it cleans and dries the mopping pads. That definitely keeps them smelling clean. They are removable and can be tossed in the laundry. That is nice too.-The app will save up to 3 maps. You can label rooms and set up boundaries. You can also draw a custom area if you want only one area cleaned.Cons: these are repetitive and annoying-The map randomly disappears. Even if you back it up, it seems to be lost. I have found that if you give up and wait a few hours, it might reappear. I think it’s a website glitch-I have had to have it remap the whole house 3 times in the past year.-There are times, the vacuum moves a foot away from the station and then signals that it can’t find the area it is to clean. It even does this in the room it is to clean. Again, I think this is a connectivity glitch.-Switching to a different map is supposedly as easy as selecting the map. I have yet to have it go that easy. You have to make sure the machine and app are convinced that it has finished a previous job. I have yet to figure out an easy way to do this.-THE MOPPING PAD FALLS OFF, STOPPING THE VACUUM IN IT’S TRACKS. This is the most irritating thing ever and it happens often.- The vacuum does a poor job transitioning from hard surface to low pile area rugs. It either grabs the rug and traps itself or the mopping pad falls off. It falls off backing into and coming out of the station.Popping that thing back on takes several tries. Which makes me question if it is so difficult to put on, why is it so easy to fall off?-It will struggle over floor changes such as hardwood to tile if there is a slight height difference. It eventually makes it as long as the mopping pad will doesn’t fall off.The mopping pads leave the edges of rugs pretty wet. They do lift, but snot well enough to transition from hard floor to rug.-Cleaning the station requires you to be floor level. I mean almost on your belly. That would be a no go for someone who can’t get up/down from the floor. The station gets gross and does need cleaned.-the vacuum is starting to emit a high pitched ringing noise. It isn’t signaling that something needs attention, so I don’t know why it’s making this sound, but it hurts my ears. I’ve cleaned it and made sure the filters are new and sealed well. The filters are enclosed in a plastic case. That definitely is a stupid design and contributes to landfill waste. To summarize: it does a fantastic job cleaning. The app and connectivity have some issues that can leave you frustrated. The mopping pad falling off is the most irritating thing ever.It has continued to run well. I bought it at a much much higher price than it is currently being sold. For the current price, it is probably worth putting up with the annoyances. For the price I paid, it isn’t gyro be replaced anytime soon, but I would not pay that price again for the same model.Initial review: I just received this today; therefore, I cannot comment on long term use, but so far, it has been fantastic. I have a Deebot that is several years old and it still works, but eventually started smashing into furniture. I have 2 dogs and they are both messy eaters. I am constantly mopping my floors. I was excited for this Deebot to be released. It was very easy to set up and get running. The instructions were easy to follow. I had to download an app, but everything has an app these days. After charging the system, I sent the robot out to map my house. Once it was mapped, I named the rooms and was able to divide areas to allow more specific cleaning. The mapping is fairly accurate. I then started the cleaning. It transitioned from wood to rug well. I noticed that some edges of the rug are damp, but it makes sense. When you see it in action, it is doing well to adjust to half on and half off the carpet. The app is easy to use. I was able to set parameters for cleaning and it gives a few options. The voice commands worked well. I was able to tell it to mop the kitchen and entry and it did just those areas. You can have more than one map. You can tell it to only clean a specific area. You are able to tell it to pause or return to base. The video might make it sound loud, but it isn’t. I haven’t tried, but I believe I could watch TV while it is running. People could definitely have a conversation. . I wish I could upload more videos, but Amazon only allows one. Based on today’s experience, I would recommend the device. It’s a new product and I can’t speak about longevity, but my old less sophisticated Deebot is still working.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic vacuum, if you don’t get a lemon.
I’ve owned quite a few robot vacuums and mops over the years. All the mops are terrible. The technology isn’t there yet. The ones that could be great get clogged rending it worthless, so just buy a Bissell Spinwave and make your life easier. The mop on this thing is like asking a kid to wipe the floor down with a wet rag. It’ll be better than nothing, but it’s not clean. The vacuum though? It’s fantastic IF you don’t get a lemon. I have two of these things and I use them multiple times a day. I have 7 kids and 4 dogs. There’s crumbs, hair, and dirt everywhere. With light colored floors, I have to constantly clean. One of the vacuums worked, but didn’t charge. I sent it back right away. No use wasting time on a lemon. Its replacement has been marvelous. These bad boys are great because they’re super, duper quiet, especially compared to the iRobot S9, which is crazy loud, even on its lightest suction mode. They’re super fast too. They finish a room much faster than the iRobot did because they don’t waste time trying to cover every single square inch if something was blocked. You have the option to revacuum over the obstacles if you want, but I never do because it’s pretty darn clean. It does a fantastic job and has only gotten stuck once on a binder the kids left on the floor unlike that blasted iRobot!!! I’ve only used these to vacuum for well over a month and the house looks great. There would be black dog hair everywhere if it missed any spots. It does great on area rugs too.The only technical complaint I have is that after dividing the rooms the way I like it, it sometimes resets it to the way the map was when it originally mapped the house. That’s a little annoying. Then I waste time merging zones again. It’s only happened with one of the vacuums. It’s much less glitchy than the iRobot. The iRobot used to have errors multiple times a day, like the dustbin was full when it wasn’t or the lid wasn’t closed when it was. Then I’d waste more time than it was worth figuring out all those blasted errors! iRobot has great customer service, trust me because I spent hours talking to them from the first day I had that blasted thing, but their products bite. I haven’t had to use the customer service for these yet and I really hope I never have to. I hate talking to people about stuff like that.Overall, I very highly recommend these, if you get one that works from the get go.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worthy Upgrade from the X1
Ive been using the X1 Omni for a year now and i was ready to pick up another vacuum for my second floor and was excited to see that a new and improved version had been released. This is a very feature rich robot vacuum that vacuums and mops (with hot water), navigates around the house and various obstacles using lidar, automatically empties the bin when full cleans the pads when dirty, uses hot air to dry them, sucks out the gross water and puts fresh water back into the vacuum – all automatically. It can do this on a schedule that can be set in the app that allows it to be „almost“ autonomous requiring user intervention sparingly. Every couple of weeks for attending to the water and bags, and then randomly whenever it might get hung up on a dog or kids toy that needs special attention.Personally I really like new new color choice over last years model. The white and aluminum look is very modern and clean and fits in nicely with my home interior without sticking out like a sore thumb. With three dogs it always amazes and disgusts me at the amount of dog hair this vacuum is able to get off the floor. I can’t imagine the condition of my floors without it.Based on my usage of the X1 the roller and pads last about 6 months. This one contains a new all rubber (no bristles) roller that i expect to last much much longer – if it even ever has to be replaced. The pads themselves are very similar but stay permanently attached on the T20 and the machine will raise and lower them as needed. The app is smart and has lots of features including naming my rooms and identifying furniture, setting up „no go“ rooms to avoid, it has options around how deep of a cleaning it should do when it goes out, adjustments around the sensitivity of the obstacle avoidance, scheduling options, do not disturb option for when I go on vacation, as well as firmware updates so it can continue to improve and get better with fixes and enhancements. If considering this vs the older X1 there are a few key callouts i can make based on my experience with both:- Aesthetics – Personally I think the color and look of the white fits in better with most home and is less obtrusive sitting against the wall- Suction – This one does seem to be a little stronger in the suction department. I have noticed random small pieces of trash that might get missed with the X1 seem to be grabbed with the T20. The T20 has 6000Pa vs the X1 which has 5000Pa- Autonomous nature – The T20 mopping pads stay on the machine and it determines when to use them by raising and lowering them. The X1 require user intervention to install the mopping pads and plan a mopping cleaning mission- Hygiene/Cleanliness – The T20 uses hot water and hot air to clean the mopping pad allowing them to stay cleaner and last longer. The X1 will clean the mopping heads but its cold water with a hot air dry.- Navigation – The T20 seems a bit better at navigating through the house, creating maps, and avoiding random obstacles it encounters. Not that the X1 did a bad job, this one just seems to be a bit better and requires less manual intervention. The T20 does state that it has the newest version of the Mapping and detection software and that would seem to be true.

4.0 out of 5 stars Three years of good work.
The T8 model has been solid for me. I’ve used it consistently for three years, with pets. I’m coming back to write this review as I’ve just had to order a replacement main brush motor – mine is finally throwing errors. The replacement part was $30, and while it will be a pain to replace because there is no access panel to the main brush motor (Ecovacs, WHY), spending thirty dollars and a few hours every 3 years or so to keep it online is perfectly fine for me.The only thing I would mention to others is that the mopping feature of this vacuum is negligible at best. I suppose I should have come to that conclusion on my own, but mopping requires force, and the vacuum can only apply as much force as it weighs (not much). As a vacuum, this thing is killer, and I’m gonna keep it working as long as I can. As a mop? Well, just buy a swiffer. The app is fine, as apps for vacuums go. The mapping works most of the time, the custom zones are fiddly but nice when you get them set up. I found that I never really needed to do much customizing, the default option was good enough most of the time.My recommendation? Send it back in for one final maintenance while it’s within warranty to save yourself from having to fiddle with the main brush motor, but otherwise, it’s definitely worth the investment.

4.0 out of 5 stars It’s fairly life altering
The media could not be loaded. My first robovac/mop was a Eufy Hybrid, it just kind of dragged a mop pad behind it. I was happy with Eufy, but over time it started having trouble getting up a threshold from my living room to kitchen. I think the tires lost some tread over the last year as it repeatedly attempted to 4-wheel drive over the flooring transitions in my home. I also wanted a more robust mopping system. So, I researched robovacs that could go over the problematic threshold. The best ones typically can only go up and over a .78″ step. My threshold is about 1/2″ at the start of the ramp, and about 0.75″ at the top.According to the Ecovac’s website, „What is the highest threshold robot vacuums can handle?Typically, robot vacuums can handle a maximum door threshold height of 15-20mm. The thresholds used in American homes vary by manufacturer, ranging from 6mm to 25mm or more. ECOVACS’ DEEBOT smart vacuums can climb thresholds up to 20mm.“20mm=0.78″This Deepot cleans & mops like a champ —-way way way better than my Eufy. I’m pretty sure that it removed about 5 years of residue from my poorly mopped hardwood floors in about a week of daily scheduled mop cleanings. I didn’t see a spec of dog or cat hair for a glorious week while in use.I thought the app was pretty easy to use.Unfortunately, I had to return it because it couldn’t climb that threshold. I tried to help it by positioning a door mat, but it even seemed to struggle at times with the mat in place. I also couldn’t get it to stop eating my ruggable. I was able to program it to avoid the ruggable, but that kind of defeated the purpose of having the vac. I want my rug clean too.But overall– if your floor is flat, this thing is worth the $1044 (what I paid).I uploaded a video with this review that show it hanging up on the mat, pictures of the ruggable and the threshhold (with a stick a butter for size perspective). If you have a threshold like mine and you’re wondering what to buy with technology the way that it is at this moment on 10/10/2023, there’s two options:Eufy X9, according to Eufy customer support has the same wheels/tires as my old model that could climb (BUT) you have to manually clean out the dust collector. For my high shedding dog, this isn’t an option for me.Roborock S8 Pro Ultra Robot Vacuum, Auto-Drying, Self-Washing, Liftable Dual Brush & Sonic Mop, —-this is the one I want but I’m not ready to pull the trigger on a $1500 vacuum but it features this „Liftable Brushes and Mop Offer You More. The liftable brushes and mop can separate vacuuming and mopping in a single clean, maximizes the cleaning effectiveness for different tasks such as carpets cleaning and hard floor cleaning, and avoids leaving stains after a clean. If an entrapping threshold is set in the app, the brushes and mop will both lift automatically and help the robot climb it more easily.“I’m pretty sure that it will be able to clear my threshold if it lifts all the brushes and mop up, but that is what separates it from the $1000 models. I am a little sad that it doesn’t have dual wheel brushes and just has the sonic clean, but other reviewers say it works great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer in floor cleaning
The media could not be loaded. You won’t believe how the ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 Omni Robot Vacuum and Mop totally flipped my cleaning game. I mean, it’s not just your regular robot vacuum – it’s like this super sleek cleaning sidekick that’s got all the high-tech vibes. Hot water mopping and self-cleaning? Mind-blowing stuff that made cleaning hella easier and way cooler. But the real kicker is the Hot Water Mop Washing gig. Unlike other bots, this bad boy can mop with hot water! No lie, my floors are straight-up gleaming. And check this – it even hits ‚em with hot air to dry ‚em out fast. Moreover, the suction power on this thing is off the charts – we’re talking about 6000Pa of dirt-devouring awesomeness. It’s like a tornado of tidying up, sucking in dust, crumbs, and even pet fuzz. From my wood floors to those low-pile rugs, it switches modes like a champ, leaving nada behind. The OZMO Turbo Spinning Mop is pure magic, dude – it’s like watching it zap away stubborn stains with its insane spinning game. Now, the Auto Mop Lift move? Genius. It’s like it’s got a sixth sense for carpets – it spots ‚em and lifts the mop, so only the solid surfaces get the treatment. No more soggy rugs. And don’t even start on its ninja-level Obstacle Avoidance skills. It’s like it’s got this invisible room map, dodging furniture like a pro. Precision on fleek, making me trust it even when I’m out of sight. So here’s the deal – the ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 Omni Robot Vacuum and Mop is like the rockstar of cleaning gadgets. It’s got all these mind-blowing features – hot water mopping, self-emptying, dodging obstacles, and even voice control. If you’re after a smarter, cooler way to keep your pad clean, this thing is a total game-changer. Seriously, it’s like the new king in the realm of home cleaning gadgets.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compra muy segura

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny!!!
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this robot. It’s a great helper especially when you have 2 dogs shedding 24/7 and coming back with the dirty paws after playing in the backyard. Now that I had it for a few weeks I didn’t really find any issues with it other then voice commands sometimes being stubborn because of my accent. I love the fact that I schedule it for every day cleaning and I don’t have to worry about washing mop pads or emptying the dustbin. It does really good job on washing the floors and cleaning its mops. Because of dual spinning mops there are no stains left on the floor and the floor appear evenly cleaned with no streaks, comparing to even my electric mop. My only wish it had larger water tanks, but other than that I don’t really mind adding water every day. It has very nice sensors, I’d say even too good of the sensors that I had to tone it down because it was detecting my dog’s large clump of fur as an object and cleaning around it. Overall big recommend if you are looking for something in the lower price range and still all same functions as the other high end robots, and it still has really high performance.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tall rugs is not it’s friend
I have ran this thing everyday since we got it and are house is 1800 sf. The only thing I don’t like is it has a hard time going over tall rugs. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great all around mop and vacuum cleaner.

5.0 out of 5 stars I am so in love with this thing!!
The media could not be loaded. I had an iRobot vacuum that worked just fine, but it did not have a mopping feature, which I really wanted. I was nervous about spending this much on an upgrade, but I am so glad that I took the chance on this product! The setup is very user-friendly, easy and straightforward with clear instructions and a handy app. You can create a cleaning schedule, or simply say,“Ok, Yiko,“ and give it instruction to start cleaning.I have a larger 3 bedroom home, and so it does need to return to the station occasionally to clean itself and empty water/dirt from the floor and clean the mopping pads. It is no more noisey than my iRobot was, but my floors now can stay cleaner! It does a fantastic job at both sulking up my German shepherd/great Pyrenees pup’s hair that otherwise would take over our home. And the mopping pads even cleaned up small bits of hardened chocolate from my 2 young children that I would have had to scrape off the floor. Oh, and my floors are hardly damp when it is done going over an area, so it dries very quickly. It’s so nice to be able to walk on the floors without worrying about slipping or creating a mess of footsteps everywhere. This has saved me so much time as a single mom, and is THE best purchase I’ve made in a long time. The only downside thus far is that the station is a bit bulky. You’re definitely not going to be able to hide it but co sidering how well it works, its a small.price to pay.Seriously, if you have a heavy shedding pet, messy children, and/or are simply looking for some help keeping the place nice and tidy, don’t hesitate to get this! You will fall in love, too!

4.0 out of 5 stars Does NOT clean under cabinet kick plate
The media could not be loaded. 7/17 Upped review to 4 stars. I’m in a love/hate situation with this machine.Pros – I hate cleaning floors and it’s really terrific to have the hardwood & tile floors vacuumed and mopped. We have one carpeted study and it did a very good vacuum in there.Cons – The edge deep cleaning apparently is only for auto or housekeeping. I’m not yet ready to send it all over my house at once, plus the water wouldn’t last that long.- I have placed furniture in the living room to vacuum under the couch but it simply will not go under there. There’s plenty of clearance as I’ve set it under there myself with a couple of inches to spare.- The documentation is hopeless for the app, which is terrible. Not intuitive at all.7/15 Not at all impressed. I’ve mapped twice and it doesn’t go under cabinet kick plate area, either with vacuum only or Mop “edge deep cleaning”. Kitchen floor was fairly dirty, and it still is. Will be calling customer service Monday, but this is Way too expensive for a half baked job. As others have noted, it leaves the floor in front of the unit soaked when it exists.

5.0 out of 5 stars The latest and greatest smart vacuum cleaner
This is probably 1 of the best vacuum cleaners I’ve ever owned. Although the price is steep, it is definitely worth it. I work almost 80 hours a week, and this saves me much time in terms of cleaning the house. This vacuum cleaner runs multiple times daily and will mop and dry its little brushes multiple times in one run.1 of the best things is the autodetection feature which will detect things and move around them. I love the fact that my dog can sit, and the vacuum cleaner will not bother him. There is also the carpet section which works pretty much accurately. There is some wetness at the edges of my carpet but that is to be expected with robot vacuum cleaners. This is most likely residual wetness from the mopping future next to the hardwood. One great thing is it’s quick mapping feature which I have shown a screenshot of it quick mapping my house. The only downside is you have to add furniture but this is more aesthetic than functional. I have quick map my house multiple times as a move furniture and it only takes probably 10 minutes for it to map the entire house. I also like that it continues to map with time and gets better as it does more runs. You can also edit the map in order to create more rooms and divide your house into sections. Put my old robot vacuums I usually had to stay in the house in case it gets stuck. But this has so far been good where I usually don’t have to stay in my home and I can let it run and do its thing without having to worry that it will get stuck. I highly recommend this to everyone especially those who hate cleaning floors this will change the game.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worked better than I imagined but…
My floor has never been cleaner, doing it myself as it were. However, the company greed is blatant in the dustbin design and the cost of the auto empty option!!! The dustbin is hinged on the end with a push button release requiring two hands and it opens to an inverted V shape to empty but must be open almost flat to completely clean out which extends it to twice its length. You need two hands held below the timeline of a large garbage can or you drop a portion on the floor and you have to vacuum again.Update: had to return as recommended by maker as failed to maintain WiFi connection. It’s a shame that big, wealthy corporations feel the need to take your money almost as soon as you tap “place your order”, but way before you get your purchase but when they owe you, they take their sweet time, waiting for the package to arrive before even considering sending you what is due. Kinda like the IRS. There ARE some companies that issue the refund once the package is scanned by the currier. Not this seller. Sad.Update: I have tracked the package, delivered to them on the 17th and they still say waiting for it. Ugh!Update: I am returning the replacement as it won’t even connect a first time.04/09/2022 update. Hopefully the final. 3rd times the charm as this replacement is working perfectly save for one reset needed. If it becomes an issue, I will update.

5.0 out of 5 stars Game Changer for my life
2 dogs in the house and a female. Not sure which leaves more hair LOL, but I put this thing on a schedule to vacuum daily and mop 2x/week. No longer have hair on my socks or see hair on the baseboards.Best thing: the many different levels of suction. If you use it daily, then you can leave it on quiet or standard mode. Super quiet. I run it at4:30am before getting up. Dogs aren’t disturbed by it and neither am I.Con:1. Mop doesn’t replace a good hand mop scrubbing. But, if you keep the house clean emough with it, then shouldn’t have a need for scrubbing.2. On occasion, the base moves on the app without me actually moving it. Has happened twice in the 3 months I’ve had the vac. It confuses the mop in terms of where it is when it starts to vacuum or mop. Easy fix, just a mild aggravation.

5.0 out of 5 stars fabulous cleaning job
We have 3 cats, and mostly bamboo flooring, with bedrooms in carpet. It worked great, except that we are not supposed to mop bamboo floors, so we returned it because that was a great and costly feature we could not use.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good
Just received my T20 Omni yesterday. Setup was quite simple, and the map generated quickly (it has not yet identified furniture or floor types – though there are options for this, so hopefully this will populate soon). Have only used it for vacuuming thus far – will be running a mop cycle later and am excited to test the power mopping functionality, plus the ability for the mops to „raise“ in order to address hard floors and carpets during the same cycle.Seems well made and is attractive from a design standpoint. The base is LARGE, but it needs to be able to house the deebot, have a place for the dirt bag, and hold two canisters for clean and dirty water. It is quieter than my earlier version (2-year old) Deebot, and my quite old Roomba. The app/software leaves a little bit to be desired, like issues combining rooms or dividing rooms. There is only a fixed list for room names and it mysteriously omits „family room“ from the list, but has room names for Cloakroom, Lounge, Gym, Study, and „Tatami.“ Curious to say the least. It’s clear (as is typical with these types of products) that Chinese people have built it, as there are the typical phrases and words that, while you can get the gist of what they mean, are clearly not how you or I would write. Why these companies don’t have a native English speaker perform QA on their instruction booklets and software text is beyond me.

5.0 out of 5 stars My wife is jealous! The robot cleans better than her.
Can’t say enough. My apartment is 3200 sq.ft. Mapped it out in 1.5 hrs. Had to move a few things like dry cat food on plates, not a problem. Follow her around 1st time just in case. But once its mapped, take a nap.The rollers, sweepers etc. are so easy to clean, Now my only problem is my wife hogs the couch while the Debot T20 is cleaning. Great machine, especially for the current price. $600 to $700. Bought the accessories and cleaning fluid after we saw how good she was. Very cheap for all you get,

been looking for a robot mop that will clean itself. Its been working pretty well so far. the floor looks a lot better with our two dogs. i do have it mopping every day and i have to dump the dirty water every other day about. its worth it to see how gross the water is. better than having that dirt on our floors.

5.0 out of 5 stars It’s perfect for household use
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a robot to clean my house after I got a Pomeranian that shed a lot. Finally found this newly released robot that can automatically clean and wash by itself. All I need to do is to fill up the water tank and cleaning solution.Apps can be downloaded at App Store by searching or simply scan the code on the device, it has step by step directions to set up the device. Map created while it’s cleaning, it saved and I can separated the rooms, so that I can do whole house cleaning of just somewhere that needs to. It goes back to wash the mop about 10 minutes by my setting or it can be setting manually go back to wash the mop at the station. Not much noise which is ok to use in the evening as well. It will correct the dust after it done cleaning. It can be set to clean at a specific time everyday. Even better. I can use the app to control the robot not matter where I am which is very convenient. So far I am very satisfied with my new robot and it really release my hands. I use it everyday and my floor looks great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Requires little maintenance and lasts a long time
I currently was using two robot vacuums on our main floor. One for the carpeted living area and one for the hardwood kitchen/dining area. This is so that the vacuum could mop the hardwood too. That is why I was researched and bought this robot vacuum that came with the ability to lift the mop. I was hopeful that I would only need one for the entire floor so that it can both vacuum and mop. We’ve been using it for about a month now and it has been working very well. There have only been a few days that it has gotten stuck – usually because our kids left something small like a pipe cleaner in the way. The self-emptying function works well too. It does require maintenance to keep it fully clean but at least it is not a daily thing. The robot can empty ifs dirty mop water and dust bin by itself so we only need to check it every week to ensure it’s still clean. We honestly have a bunch of robot vacuums and the things that have been most annoying about them have been how often they get stuck, and how often we have to clean them out. This robot vacuum was surely an investment but it helps reduce the headache of daily maintenance. You can see the vacuum lines that feel so great to wake up to every morning (we run it every night and when it gets stuck, we don’t wake up to the nice crisp vacuum lines).Aesthetically, the colour scheme helps not make it look like a sore spot in the living room. The white and silver sleek look blends it into our decor (our previous ones were black and looked obviously out of place).

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST purchase ever
I have always had iRobot.I research heavily before I made this expensive purchase. This is the best vacuum/mop on the market. It vacuums and then mops with 2 spinning heads that actually warm up the water first. Then it puts a dryer feature so it won’t be as wet. There are many different settings for this. If you just want vacuum or just mop you can do the as well. I use this once a week. There are canisters for fresh and dirty water. This is a no nonsense machine. It was worth every penny. I also purchased the extended warranty if anything does happen to it. It was also worth the price. You won’t be sorry with this. I have it set for every 10 minutes to return to the unit and it uses the self washing ability for the pads, empties the water, fills with hot water and then continues. The iRobot just uses the pad that doesn’t move and keeps mopping with the same dirty pad tracking dirty water through the house. Buy this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars The LIDAR makes this much better
I have only had this unit for a short time but it is way better than the cheaper model I bought over a year ago. The old one is from Yeedi which it appears is a sub-brand for Ecovacs. Once getting the unit it is very clear that these things are cousins. Many of the parts and pieces are the same. What is better about the Ecovacs? Well I think the best thing about it is that it doesn’t just constantly bump into things. I thought I really liked the Yeedi until the first time I used the Ecovacs. It is also much quieter. Not just in the vacuum suction sound but also the overall build of the unit. I have tile on my kitchen floor that are about 10″ square. The Yeedi made a lot of noise going over the grout lines. It sounded like it was bouncing down the stairs. It was kind of rhythmic really with a bump-BUMP sounds as it went back and forth. The Ecovacs will make a bump sound some but nothing like the other one. The mapping seems to be a wonderful thing as it easily finds it way around and doesn’t have to „feel“ all the edges/walls. The Yeedi just bumped into everything before turning and that was a contributor to the sound as well. One other issue I had with the Yeedi that the Ecovacs hasn’t had a problem with is getting stuck along the bottom edge of my kitchen cabinets. Sometimes the Yeedi would be fine and other times I would have to go save it. I would feel comfortable starting the Ecovacs and leaving the house, where the Yeedi was a crapshoot. The Ecovacs also seems to do the job about 10 minutes faster. I have a split level home and cleaning the kitchen and living room takes about 30 minutes for the Ecovacs, whereas the Yeedi took 40 minutes or more for the same area.I need to get it started on the other floors of the house, which is a reason I bought this unit. I have little doubt that it will work wonderfully on the other floors after seeing how well it mapped the first floor. So far I am very happy with this robot vacuum and would recommend it to anyone looking for one.

4.0 out of 5 stars A life saver
Just wish I got one of these sooner! I’ve been wanting to get one of these since covid especially so this is my first robot vacuum and it’s just magical. When I got it I was concerned with how loose it was in the main box for shipping. But it was in another box and it’s all good. Now out of the box, I’m like ooh shiny! It feels nice and heavy not too heavy. I only had time to tidy one room so I kept it to one room without having to map the whole place and so far thats working out ok for me. I’m just imagining all the maintenance work I don’t have to struggle to keep up with anymore just have to pick up toys or whatever. Now I can’t keep my kids off of it. I probably should have got the aivi so I could tell the kids to back off if they’re up to shenanigans. But I was struggling to pick a bunch of different brands and all that. I went with this because it’s my first and wasn’t sure if I could keep things tidy enough so I was afraid to spend a lot more on a set of the room as. So I figured a 2 in 1 could come in handy and I don’t have to worry about where to out the separate mop and I will get out my swifter anyways. This is not bad for the price. Also it’s keeping the one room clean after the kids got home from school. It encourages them more to pick up their toys. The app is easy to figure out. Once I have the house mapped I’ll figure it out more. I love that it talks, one kid calls it Siri haha. I love that you can name it I think I’m going to keep renaming it. Worth every penny.

4.0 out of 5 stars Robot Vacuum has some problems, but the customer support is excellent.
Purchased Deebot T20 last November. Robot is doing pretty decent job for vacuuming and moping. One month ago started to have connectivity problems between robot and base. Contacted customer service and was suggested to sent a unit for diagnostic. Prepaid shipping label was sent by email and one week later got a notice that unit is not repairable and new replacement unit was sent. New Deebot T20 arrived in time and works as expected. Excellent customer service – timely and accurate communication, fast issue resolution.

4.0 out of 5 stars MUCH better than I thought with a few minor issues.
Tried to do research on vacuum/mop robots but they’re mostly tied in categories. So I picked my criteria of good mapping, good obstacle management, and good mopping. That narrowed it down to just two for me and I just picked the T8. I chose not to get the T8 AIVI with the camera as I don’t care to have a photographic map of my house available. It’s bad enough there’s a digital map but if you want mapping vs random, you have to allow it. So this little machine completely exceeded my expectations. First with the mapping. It mapped our whole 3000 foot house very precisely (less one room we blocked off) and managed to shockingly vacuum the entire house on one charge the first time. Our house is all hardwood tile with rugs. It crawls right onto the rugs, turns up the vacuum, and then back down to the hard floor and turns down the vacuum. The second time it ran out of juice before it was finished and I had to carry it back. Since then there was a firmware upgrade and it usually finishes the whole house and gets back to it’s charging station on one charge. Once it wasn’t quite done and it announced it was heading back to charge. Impressive. Mopping was trial and error. It remapped the house for mopping, carefully avoiding any rugs. The problem is some of the rugs don’t leave enough hard floor for the robot to get through so it avoids those areas. I flipped up the corners of the rugs to give it room to pass and it works fine . Remember, it’s not really „mopping“, it’s dragging a wet pad along the floor. The pad coverage was OK, but I decided to run up the water to max and it’s much better. Pad wet trail behind the T8 is still about 75% the width of the pad. I keep an eye on it, and when the water tank gets low, I pause the robot, refill the tank, clean the pad, and let it keep going. This vastly improved performance. I haven’t used the app to tell it to re-do specific areas yet, but I will experiment with that in the future. I may consider purchasing the shaker mop, but for the time being, I vacuum one day, mop the next, then one day off, so the floors are actually staying pretty clean. The T8 works its away around all our chair legs very nicely, and it only got stuck once, behind a curtain. I’m not sure why it didn’t avoid the curtain, but this is very good performance in my opinion. We have a small dog and I read that if your dog has an pooping accident, robots won’t stop and go around, instead smearing the accident as it goes. So we ran a test with a small Baby Ruth bar (hat’s off to Caddyshack) and the T8 ran into it and kept going. Bad news if your „accident“ is real. Perhaps the AIVI version with the camera and AI would recognize it and go around, but I just don’t want a camera. All in all I’m pretty impressed. I vacuumed the house before we let it run loose the first time and the bin still filled completely up (the T8 runs under our beds!). When we ran it the second day it filled up again so I assume it got so full the first day it couldn’t take any more debris. Now I pause and check it after an hour. It vacuums as it mops too and it’s still picking up residual dust and hair. I won’t be getting the tower that cleans the bin. I think it’s too tall and I’m placing the T8 under a shelving unit to keep it out of the way when it’s not in use. If I feel the mopping isn’t working well with the high water setting and moping every third day, I’ll consider the shaker. But I gotta say, I’m amazed at how well this worked out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Constant disconnections and messy docking station after leaving
7/8/23Love the features like the smart mopping that retracts over carpet/rugs, and automated mop rinse and dry after use. Was excited to upgrade from previous Ecovacs T8+, which continued to work great for my carpet upstairs. But, T20 Omni disappointed me due to constant offline status when it docked to charge. First time, it showed blinking light under the hood. Had to manually turn off and turn back on and wait to see if would get connected. Then overnight, it went offline again with no light. Once again, had to flip the switch under the hood and wait to see it get connected. Once disconnected, the stored mapping disappears. So it’s really annoying to wait to map or debug the app to select the rooms I wanted to get cleaned right away. Also, when it leaves the docking station with wet mop from washing, it still leaves dirty residue all over the front of the docking station. This my first day owning T20 Omni, but I had to brush and wipe the front area that blackened after several back and forth from mop cleaning.I may return this if it keeps getting disconnected like this. Never experienced this kind of problem for my Ecovacs T8+. For $1,000 robot vacuum, I expected more premium experience compared to my previous sub $600 robot vacuum.Update 7/12/23After updating T20 Omni to the latest current firmware, 1.6.8, I have not experienced any drops with the connection. I am very pleased that this got resolved with the firmware update. One thing to note after using as many times as possible, I did not like that the edge of the carpet entry would get wet still when the mops are raised up. Another minor annoyance is that it would get stuck around a rug that has black strips. I tried moving the rug a bit more to the side and set the no-go zone through the app so that it could mop the small walking area between the wall and the rug, but it kept getting stuck still.Overall, I am pleased with the performance, which made me reevaluate the rating to 4 stars (maybe 4.5 stars). But some minor annoyance is blocking it to 5 stars.Pros:- Great mop cleaning features and uses hot water to mop and clean.- Long lasting battery power. For stronger suction setting and mop regular, it lasted almost 3 hours during repeated deep cleaning.- Mop/vacuum cleaning efficiency. Does decent job.- Great object detect system that avoids various things like cords and plant vines.Cons:- Uses a lot of water, which could be lessened through the app, but it does consume a lot for big floor. I had to refill the clean water and dump the water after each session.- Base station dock tray gets easily dirty after runs. The white color does not help here.- Wish there’s a way to disable the black line no-go zone to get stuck less, but I know that most if not all robot vacuum use the black lines as no-go zone.

5.0 out of 5 stars 3Year review
So it is now 3 years since we bought this in May of 2021. This vacuum is great, great mapping, great app. I have never had to contact customer service, so I can not comment on that. We have a small dog and two cats. When we run this every 2 days it keeps up with the pet hair. I have bought a new brush roller once a year, and have to clean the roller once a month, but other than that vacuum has been maintenance free.We have only used the mop feature maybe 10 times in 3 years, I’m not really impressed with it. My father has had 4 different robot vacs in 5 years, some with mopping, they seemed the same. Mopping does wet the hard floor and avoid the carpet, but there is no scrubbing to speak of. It has some nice absorbent pads, but they are small and get really dirty, really fast. I suppose if you changed them halfway through a cleaning they would be ok. I prefer to steam scrub with my cheap Shark steam mop.I have had to set up 4 robot vacs at my parents, usually not easy, but this one is done in a snap. I have had to set it up 3 times in 3 years because of internet changes or outages. Setup has always been done in 5 minutes.I highly recommend this vac.

5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer
My daughter bought one to keep her floors cleaned for a crawling infant. I loved it so I got one. Has saved me hours of time and work, cleans my floors wonderfully. It actually found my chair legs and then made a circle around the leg to clean. Distinguishes between carpet and hard floor and even tells you when the mopPads are dirty. It returns to dock and washes its pads then gets back to work. Took about 3 days before my dirty water tank started coming back clear water. I use it every single day. It’s pretty quiet, very thorough, and worth every cent.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality, flimsy however.
This worked very well for several months and then the pad heating/cleaning feature stopped working and the app became a bit temperamental. To the sellers credit, in spite of retuning it, they reached out to find out what caused our issue. We were so impressed by their commitment to satisfaction that we bought their upgraded mode which is working amazingly well! It is refreshing to have a company go that extra mile and show the they are not just after sales but are genuinely concerned about their customers. Well done and thank you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Does A Fantastic Job!
The media could not be loaded. This is one smart vacuum. A robot vacuum needs to have a name. So, meet Alice! Alice was very easy to unpack and set up. Give yourself time to learn the vacuum to using the bot. Connecting to the Wi-fi was a snap. The bot also will need to learn the lay of the land. She has many features, which are wonderful. In the box you will find the vacuum, charging/empty station, one auto seal dust bag, manual, set oof side brushes, cleaning brush, a multi-function cleaning tool and one set of mopping pads. Now to set up Alice, it was straightforward and easy to set her up. Alice will keep your floors sparkling clean. She can vacuum and mop, she is so helpful. Alice does hot mopping, which cleans the floors better. She has true mapping, true detect, voice control, housekeeper mode, and an app for the phone. She is smart and detects the stairs and will not take a tumble down them. She has a battery life of about one and half hours of cleaning time. I can also tell her to spot clean, which is nice for those quick crumbs. She works with Alexa or Google. As for her suction power, she is mighty powerful. With the full rubber V-shaped brush head it helps to resist hair tangling in the brush. The brushes pop off (they are color coded) and the mop heads push on. Alice knows how to maneuver between rugs and floors. She can keep up with my grand-dog’s hair and the grandchildren’s crumbs. We are a large family, so Alice is always’ on the go cleaning up after someone in the family. She works as well if not better than other brands I have had. Self-emptying is a favorite and it holds plenty. I get to sit and enjoy my family and coffee while Alice is taking care of the floors, what more can I ask for? My floors look great. She talks clearly so you can understand her. When I tell her to clean, she responds clearly back to me. I like that she is not loud at all, she is quieter than most vacuums. Not only does she do a great job vacuuming, but her mopping is spot on. I am very happy with the vacuum.

4.0 out of 5 stars Overly complicated app.
The machine works great but the app is way more complicated than it needs to be. Ecovacs does offer very good support though, and through them I discovered that you can not only scroll down in the setup page, but you can also scroll the cleaning modes bar to the right to reveal a customize mode. This custom mode is what I needed to let me schedule different cleaning preferences on different days. (The other modes all share the same „Cleaning Preference“ which selects between vacuum-only, mop-only, vacuum & mop, and mop after vacuum.) So I use the AUTO mode with vacuum-only selected and my customized mode with mop-only selected to schedule vacuum-only the day before it mops.UPDATE:It’s been cleaning our floors for a couple months now, so I thought I would give an update. A recurring problem is that a mop head often comes off when vacuuming and it encounters an edge of a throw-rug.Another issue that just came up today was a notification that the dust bag was full. I checked the bag and it was nowhere near full. So either it is simply time based or usage based, or Ecovacs just wants to sell more supplies. It does not appear to be based on actual bag fullness.Another update: ECOVACS fixed the mop head issue. They notified me of the fix and sent it me with no charge. The mop heads no longer come off. That’s good support.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good-my first robot vacuum ever
I purchased this a month ago and so far I am pretty happy with it.We have a dog that sheds like crazy and a muddy backyard in the winter. All of our house is LVP with an area rug in the living room and a couple of smaller rugs. I do have to pick up the smaller rugs or it gets hung up in them, not that big of a deal. I do have to empty dirty water and fill clean water at least once for the whole house to get mopped and the vacuum does have to recharge before it can finish the entire house. This is most likely due to my setting on cleaning the mop pads every 6 minutes. Sometimes it seems to forget where it left off after recharging. Our floors are brand new so I wanted to get my first ever robot vacuum/mop before they started building up with dirt. I do notice that the dust in my house has significantly reduced. Even our a/c filter is hardly dusty. Now this could be due to not having carpet anymore but I do think having the floors cleaned 3 times a week has helped substantiously. And I would not personally clean my floors 3 times a week. At least I can still work while the floors are getting cleaned.I am impressed with how well the machine cleans itself. I have only had to clean the mop sink twice in the month we have had it. We do stay on top of cleaning our vacuum cleaners. I still have a cordless stick vac and cordless mop for small quick cleans.

I’ve had the T20 for about 3 months. It is heads and tails above the Roomba it replaced. The suction is good and moping overall is good. I have found 4 „issues“ with it. They aren’t huge but are easily fixable with software.1) Despite it fitting, it will not clean under the cabinet overhangs in the kitchen (the little areas where the cabinet overhangs the floor). This is really frustrating for a unit that costs this much. There has to be a software fix for this.2) If you set it to go and do a vacuum and mop in an area that is primarily carpet with a little bit of tile to mop it goes back to the base station to clean it’s mopping pads even when they are lifted and it is only vacuuming (the carpet). This makes the job take longer and wastes a lot of water in the clean water tank.3) I have a higher pile rug. The robot can get on it and go over it, but it generally won’t vacuum it.4) The iPhone app is not very good or intuitive.
