Had to try again but this one is good
First one needed charged so hooked it up and started charging it. Once charged I opened the zepp app and held the phone over the QR code and clicked on the checkmark on the phone. It then told me it needed to update the watch firmware. That was the last time I was able to see English on the watch. Gave up finally since there was just enough glare on the watchface so the tiny Chinese writing could not be deciphered by the translator phone app. Sent that one back. The next one I did the same process and it worked. Yes at the beginning it had choices of English and Chinese and I selected English both times. And both times the firmware updating was in English. Difference happened at the end the 2nd watch opened in English the first in Chinese.Watch is nice, on the 3rd day with 82% battery charge. I previously had a GTS 2e so am familiar with the features.. This one seems a bit faster . Have not set up all the features but did test the step counter and it seems accurate. Now wn 4th day and charge is 71%. Previous watch usually was under 50% by now.Heart rate is being measured every 10 minutes and a 5200 step walk was tracked.

Better than the Apple Watch
So I have been an Apple Watch owner since the dawn of time and I have an Apple phone. This watch game changes the PAI really makes you up your game in your workout each day challenging yourself. The stress indicator lets me know when I need to take a step back and breath. The sleep tracking is way better than the Apple Watch. The length of charge is like 14 days with the ability to just jump in the pool without having to push a button and wiggle three times. Apple Watch users you are paying way too much. One thing that does stink it my Spotify account I can’t hook up since I do have an android which sticks cause the speaker on this watch is crazy.

I was skeptical, but this watch is great
I needed a new watch because my FitBit Inspire fell off my wrist and got lost. I was a little nervous about an Amazon wearable, but this watch is exactly what I needed. Nice big bright screen. Intuitive design. Waterproof. Plenty of good band options. I just wore it to the beach for a week and had zero issues with it. Battery life is incredible. The heart rate monitor is reporting basically the same numbers as my previous Fitbits, suggesting it’s very accurate. I love having physical buttons again. GPS seems accurate. My only complaint is that I wish the app reported trends a little more easily but hopefully they’ll do an update. At $80 this watch is an absolute bargain and does all the things I need it for. Very happy with it.

love the watch
I bought it when it is on sale and the price is good. I used to wear a Amazfit band 7 and this one is worth the upgrade. I bought it mainly check my health. I am a senior and find it quite accurate in measuring heart rate, blood oxygen, stress and sleep. The only workout I use is walking and is quite accurate and has GPS . It has all kind of feature including barometer and compass. It is easy set up and give you a lot information about your health and activity. Too bad it does not have ECG.

Lots of handy features
Great at reminders, keeping tabs of incoming mail and sms messages. Good fitness tracking, and for the most part the heart rate accuracy is quite good (i.e. matched it up the community centre gym equipment and it seemed accurate). The Zepp app is a little befuddling but it’s just a learning process I think. One secret of this is to keep location tracking on for the Zepp app on the phone all the time. No regrets on this purchase. Also, it’s very light which is nice.

THIS IS THE BEST WATCH YOU COULD EVER HAVE
I don’t normally write long reviews like this. but i am SO thrilled about this watch. i did NOT expect to like it as much as i do, and i didn’t see anywhere about all the extra stuff it includes. (idk, maybe i’m blind)first off, you can literally add GAMES to ur watch. like tik tac toe, black jack, whack-a-mole, etc. they’re actually really fun to play. there’s other apps that you can download like tarot readings, gps, birthday reminders, like a lot of stuff.there’s also a bunchhhhhh of different wallpapers you can choose from, and some of them are free!!!i love this thing, i originally got it just for tracking my steps and to answer calls when i’m not near my phone. this is so awesome. i don’t understand how this could possibly have bad reviews. it works great with my iphone too.my only minimal issue i have is that i can’t figure out how to get texts to show up on my watch. that’s really it. everything else is PERFECT.

AMAZON MADE IT RIGHT
My original order arrived with a defective display. Amazon very promptly sent a replacement that I am very happy with. Very few watches have an „always on“ option, even fewer with Alexa. I like it is both bluetooth and Wi-fi. My last watch was an Amazfit, it lasted 3 years before the battery became unusable. I am expecting at least 3 years out of this watch. None of them are going to last nearly as long as my Citizen Eco-Drive, 25 years so far!

Just buy it!
I’ve tried 5 smart watches all operating on a different app and at various price points from $30 to $300. This one is $150 and is in my opinion the only real competitor to an apple or galaxy watch. My son owns an apple watch and I managed to impress him with some features. Particularly the battery life. He laughed at the advertised 12 day battery life. When I finally HAD to charge my watch after 6 days of heavy use, he couldn’t believe it. The other feature his more expensive apple watch doesn’t have is the ability to quickly display multiple digital business cards by means of a qr code generated by the watch app. One click and anybody can scan my code to visit my website. Totally genius! Thankfully, I found a watch I can keep and be absolutely happy with. The zepp app is by far the best I have used and makes the watch super customizable. I’m picky when it comes to tech and I don’t leave many reviews. The fact I’m taking the time for this product means something. Hope this helps someone.

Pleasantly surprised
When I lost my versa, I wanted to replace it, but couldn’t bring myself to pay $100 for a new one. After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance on this Amzfit.I am very pleased with the quality, accuracy, and price.Much better than the Versa.I would recommend this watch.

Buen reloj

AmazFit Smart Watch
The thing my husband enjoys most about this Amazfit watch is the tracking activity features. It has over 150 activities, so you can track just about anything you want. He doesn’t really track his sleep, but uses it daily for his activities, like bike riding, jogging, walking, kayaking, playing golf, etc. The battery life is superior to other smart watches by other companies. I can’t wait for my Amazfit watch to break so I can get one like his. He purchased mine about three years ago. I use the mobile app daily. Mine has a 45-day battery life but doesn’t have as many features as his. They are a great value. I’ll be purchasing another one when this one dies.

Does a lot but missing some features
My Fitbit Versa2 was only going about three days between charges so I was ready to get a new one. Fitbit device batteries only seem to hold a charge for a week (at most) and I was looking for something better than that. This Amazfit device advertised 12 days of use between charges so I decided to buy it. This device offers a 150 different exercise tracking options (e.g. running, hiking, climbing, cycling, etc.) and will give you stats on each one (distance, speed, time, heart rate, etc.). The battery might last 12 days if you don’t use any of the activity tracking options, but it will have more limited battery life if you use any activity tracking on a daily basis. Also, when using an activity tracker it won’t let you put it in the background so that you can see what time it is on the Home screen.Surprisingly, this device does not have a stopwatch feature like the Fitbits do. I also miss having a count of the number of floors climbed each day like Fitbit does. When reading text messages it provides options to reply with preset text strings or emojis, but it does not offer a Mark As Read option (just a Delete option). There are dozens of free watch face designs to choose from and others that cost a small amount, so users have lots of customization options. I have only had this device for two weeks and while I like the battery life it has, I miss the features that I had with Fitbit. I may end up returning it for a refund.Update: I was able to go 15 days without recharging the device when I did not use any of the activity tracking features. I suspect that the trackers that use GPS are the ones that might require more battery use than others. Also, I forgot to mention that I was not able to find any user manual documentation for this device, so I had to figure out how to use the features on my own.

This is a viable option to the name brand smart watches
This is my first smart watch, so I went with value instead of the latest name brand version with all the bell and whistles. I’m still learning all the features but so far, I’m fairly impressed. The app is ok, disappointed in the watch faces, as most of the good ones cost you $$$. The advertised battery life is not far off. I’m not a power user so take this into account on this review.

Way better than I was expecting
I had a fitbit before this and this is so much better. The battery life is so long. Obviously it changes with Bluetooth connection but still so great. It connects so quickly to Bluetooth. It took forever for my fitbit to connect. So happy with this purchase and highly recommend

Great, would give it a 4.5 if possible
Great watch, coming from a Samsung watch active and watch 4, my main complaint was the battery, this blows them away.Pros* The watch has a good screen, is responsive, and has a decent array of features. Edit: it actually has a ton of features, they’re buried all over the place in different menus.* Battery life is years ahead of Samsung and Apple, it’s honestly confusing to me how it’s so much better. * Easy transition from Samsung watch as far as day to day usage, it navigates mostly the same.Cons* Not much of a store, settings are all over the place and it’s a bit confusing how many different pages they reference and how split up they are all.* I don’t know how many watch faces they mentioned but in reality you get 4 or 5 to start and most of the other watch faces I saw cost money. The watch face store didn’t have an easy way to filter on „free“ that I could tell either.* Widgets are a bit of a pain point, I want more widgets available so I can access them via carousel, there’s maybe 10 total.* They could benefit _a lot_ from a native English speaker helping with localization. Functionally passable but it just looks more professional if menu items aren’t just typed into Google translate right?* The dials, worst part of the phone for me. (Not that big of a deal but I don’t like them) They’re both pretty big and really take the otherwise fine aesthetic down a notch. The second button has little functionality aside from bringing up a workout list, which is overkill in my opinion. (edit: you can assign any functions you want to either button including short/long hold, which is nice, I still probably only need 1 though)* Brushed the watch on a wall while walking and it definitely nicked it a little bit, I’m not saying it wasn’t my fault but I’ve done the same many times with my Samsung and the glass looks like day 1 still.* Sometimes I get the same alert more than once, no idea why, I’ve googled it and some people mentioned using a third party app to fix this. I’m not sure if that’s still the solution but if it is, it’s terrible, hoping it doesn’t persist or that there’s an up to date fix for it.Overall this watch punches way higher than it’s price, and it’s performance is surprisingly good. I was worried about a larger watch but I actually like it better than I thought I would as well. I’m on day 4 I think and the battery is in high 70s, not that it matters a ton but it’s actually pretty cool to be able to use the sleep tracking feature, which you just can’t do with a lot of watches without multiple charges in a day.

Reliable and Durable
Just want to say this thing is amazing. I only ever have to charge it like once maybe twice a month. Also I rode go carts with my friends one evening, it fell off during the ride didn’t notice till after we left. Rained all weekend and when the grounds crew found it, it works perfectly still, not a scratch on it.

There are Pros and Cons
I got this watch on February 10. Activation/Set Up was easy after downloading the Zepp App. The app is fine for me. If somebody is used to Wear OS by Google, better be careful. This app does to my knowledge not offer the same number of apps. Apps cannot be downloaded from the Google Play Store, and the number of available apps is low. I only chose a calculator that I never used so far. The hardware appears to be fine. The screen looks nice, is solid, responsive, and big enough to actually fiddle with the little touch screen. The two buttons on the side are handy. You can turn one of them and it scrolls through a menu. Everything was working fine in the beginning (later more about that). The sensors can measure heart rate, blood oxygen, steps. It can also measure temperature. However, that temperature is the temperature at the sensor. It is not your body temperature. It has a GPS. Accordingly it can calculate a bunch of stuff, like the distance you walked/ran/step length, … I do not want to debate the accuracy of the sensors. It’s not important to me, if the heart rate or anything else is 10% off. The GPS is pretty accurate I can say from the little maps you get after a walk/run/…. Be aware though. There is no Google Maps or navigation that gets you from place A to place B. There is a ton of specific things for activities like walking, running, swimming, …. I did barely use that except for the walking I do.You cannot -to my knowledge- sync the calendar with your Google calendar. What you can do is direct notifications from your phone to the watch. You can make the watch vibrate for every e-mail that’s coming in, for every other notification you get on your phone, including those from the Google calendar. You can move music from your phone to the watch. You can connect the watch to speakers, headphones, earbuds using Bluetooth, and you can listen to the music you copied to the watch. No Amazon Music, no Spotify, …, no Podcasts (unless you play it from your phone, which is fine with me).You can take an arriving phone call, if you want to do so. Evidently, your phone has to be in reach for the Bluetooth connection to your phone to be functioning. Most likely you can even do much more stuff that I did not come to check out during the time I had the watch. Now comes the worse part: The day after the change from Standard Time to Summer Time on March 13 (Is this a coincidence?) a number of functions of the watch started to malfunction. The continuous heart rate monitor wasn’t working anymore. It recorded things just intermittently. This had a tremendous impact on a bunch of other things. After being in bed for 8 hours, the sleep analysis said I had had light sleep for 40 minutes. The watch is still measuring my heart rate when I choose „measure heart rate“. It just doesn’t do it any more continuously. That affects other things that depend on the continuous measurement of the heart rate (which I all disabled now). Sleep analysis (which I do not really need anyways and disabled) becomes unusable. What is the issue though? I sent a notification to Amazfit via the app. No response. Customer care? Quality control?I would have returned the watch, but it was too late. Amazfit did not respond to my complaint so far (2-3 weeks).Summary: The watch shows me the time, the date, my steps. It counts my steps during a walk. I can get an approximate value of my heart rate, the oxygen saturation of my blood, and my breathing rate. I can choose between 150 watch faces of which I like about 10. The watch can take and respond to phone calls (which I never do). I can connect it to my earbuds to listen to music (which I never do either). As I choose, the watch vibrates in response to notifications that are coming in to my phone. The battery life is pretty good. I charge the watch ever 2 or 3 days while I am taking my morning shower. Recharging is pretty fast and gets it up from 50 or 70% to over 90% while I shower. So, if you do not need Google apps on your watch, if you do not care for continuous heart rate monitoring (and the stuff that may be connected to it), and if you can do without customer care, the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro is the watch for you to buy.Good luck in your endeavor to search for the right smart watch to buy!

Very Good Watch
This is my first smart watch. I bought it to wear all the time including the gym so I didn’t want to get one that’s too expensive. I got this one Black Friday deal and I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks. So far I’m very happy with it. Battery lasts over a week. It’s probably worth 4.5 stars but it’s not perfect so I dropped it to a 4. It’s not the easiest set up to synch ti phone. You have to do some googling to figure some things out. For example if you want to get phone notifications on your watch you can pick and choose which ones in the Zepp app. But they won’t show as options in the Zepp app until the Zepp app sees the notifications on your phone at least once. Also the weather app is a little quirky. I am pretty sure this watch can do just about anything the other smart watches can do at a lower price. Note that it’ll the watch face is very big so keep that in mind if you want a smaller watch.

Good features, but size is too big and text is too small
I like this watch: great battery life, good GPS, lots of features. Only two problems I’ve noticed so far: 1) it is too big! I feel like Flavor Flav if he wore that silly clock on his wrist instead of on a chain around his neck. 2) the notifications and other messages are too small! According to my extensive searching there is no way to adjust that, at least not without rooting the watch (which I’m not going to mess with). That’s a dealbreaker, so I’m sad to say I will be returning it.

Poor Set-Up Instructions
I really like the look of my watch. (Of course, they only offered the color I wanted in the more expensive style watch) It was easy enough to scan the QR code and download the Zepp app that supports the watch, but it doesn’t tell you how to set up any other features of the watch. I need to use a timer for my job. I’ve always used my Fitbit timer and it worked great. Before buying the Amazfit I read that it has a timer in the product description. Well, I’ve never found it. (I did find the stopwatch, but I need a countdown timer) So, I thought I could just use Alexa to set a timer. Nowhere does it show you how to do that. I had to look up a YouTube video. You have to download a separate Alexa app. To use this watch I have to have both the Zepp app and the Alexa app open on my phone at all times, and I have to have my mobile data running to support those apps. This drains my phone battery and I have to charge it by noon. (I’ve never had to charge my phone during the work day.) I do like being able to see when a message or call comes through on my watch. I also like that the display is bright enough that I can still read it on a sunny day. All in all, If I had to do it over again, I don’t know that I would buy this watch.

I had my doubts with this watch at first since I do Xc and track and I wondered if it would live up to the expectations for a running watch and it has been superb. It has an accurate reading and it connects to Strava which is great

Love it!
I LOVE this GTS 3! I had the original Bip for several years and thought it was great. Once it died, I tried a couple other cheap watches but wasn’t happy. So I came back to Amazfit. This GTS 3 had so many great features and is very accurate. With heavy usage and always on display, I’m only getting about 4 – 5 days out off a charge. I do wish it was closer to the 12 days advertised, especially since my was getting close to 30 days. Other than that I have zero complaints. It’s really a great watch.

I had already had an Amazfit a few years ago, but I stopped using it because it was a little small and I also ordered an additional one that was supposed to be better, but it never was.I started looking for an Amazfit to return to the brand and bought it. I’ve had it for 3 days and so far it’s very good. The watch gives you a lot of information and the app you use to communicate it with your cell phone is great. Fully recommended

So far so good. Review 1 – 2 days after purchase..**Update less than a week later. Returned
Update…watch has been returned. Even though there is a lot to love about this watch, the sleep tracking and heart rate is all over the place. It says I slept 38 minutes one night and only a couple hours the other night. My daily average heart rate is way higher than usual for the days I wore it as compared to my apple watch. Nothing has changed drastically during the times I wore it vs other days, so I know it’s not life stressors. The main reason I have a smart watch is heart rate and exercise tracking and steps. This watch tracked the steps fine, but the rest of it. Not so much.I’ll update this in the future, but for now, here’s my thoughts.I’m coming from an apple watch SE. I had way too many issues with the workouts constantly pausing, which was the main reason I had the watch. I don’t respond to texts or take phone calls on my watch, and I had very few apps installed on it. After all the troubleshooting and trying to remedy the issue, I decided to shelve the watch and look for a different fitness tracking watch.Tons of videos, reviews, comparisons, lead me to Amazfit. I was nearly sold on the GTR4 or the TREX2, but I like the look of the GTR3 Pro Ltd. Edition the most. I was admittedly gunshy about the mixed reviews on heartrate tracking, which for the apple watch was solid.I decided to take a shot on this one and see for myself. So far, so good. Heartrate is about on par with the apple watch, and best of all, when I start a workout, the watch doesn’t randomly auto-pause all the time. The Zepp app is pretty nice as well, tons of watch faces you could never get on an apple watch; although many are .99 or 1.99, which is fine. They have a decent selection of free ones too.The sleep tracking, we’ll see how it does over time but I like the features of it already built in.I did order some new watch bands, as the black leather one it came with was nice, but I like sport bands most of the time. The watch is beautiful, fits my wrist great, not too heavy, and as you get used to it’s functions, I’m quite happy so far. We’ll see how it performs in the coming weeks and months, but fingers crossed we have a winner here.To the Devs…why do so many of the watch faces have both digital time and traditional clock hands…just pick one or let us remove the digital time from the classic faces.

I like most things about this watch but am disappointed in the fact that I can’t check blood pressure as that was one of the things I wanted. I had a $30 watch that did this but this way more expensive watch doesn’t do that. I should have looked more into it before I bought it

Battery life is terrific!
This is the watch I was looking for. I’ve only had it a few days, yet haven’t needed to charge it yet. In my opinion, the battery life of a smart watch is the most important feature. Amazfit did a great job with this watch. Of the five smart/fitness watches I’ve owned over the past few years, all had miserable battery life. What good is a watch, if it has to stay on the charger? Last year, I picked up the new Google watch as a promotion when I upgrade my phone. In other words, I didn’t have time to do the typical research. 🙁 The first day of using it, by the time I went to bed it was dead. I went looking for something better. Then I discovered Amazfit. This is a watch company to be reckoned with. I started pouring over their offerings and their lineup of models is impressive. Initially, I purchased the Bip 3 Pro. I bought primarily for the great price. However, I decided to see what a modest upgrade would offer. (Nothing was wrong with the Bip 3 Pro. It functioned fine.) At the end of the day I decide to upgrade to the Amazfit GTS 3. I’m still learning the navigation and features it offers. Below are features I found most notable, so far.Pros:1 – Battery life of 12 days. Impressive by historical smart watch standards.2 – A little bigger display then the Pip 3 Pro.3 – The 1.75″ AMOLED screen is gorgeous. It is super clear, bright and characters sharp. Great contrast as well.4 – Reasonably good fitness features. I wanted a watch that would also help me keep track of my sleep. I haven’t used it long enough to properly rank this now.5 – Nice soft silicone band.6 – Perfect size and looks good on my small wrist.Cons:1 – My one complaint is the small, plastic magnetic charger base. Any bump of the watch will unseat it. There’s simply not enough surface area of the uber-small pins of the charger base to attach firmly with the watch. I know some things need to be made a little cheaper to meet costs, but this could be improved. I hope Amazfit will design and offer another charger with better magnetics. So far, I’m very happy with this watch. The features/price value is exceptional. At $120 you can’t go wrong. Amazfit seems to be on a great track to continue to design exceptional smart watches that include all the usual features of a smart/fitness tracker. If I uncover any other features that stand out I’ll update this review.

Like it so far!
Seems to be a pretty good watch with nice features. The blood oxygen and heart rate are very responsive and seem to work flawlessly. The watch faces that come with it are limited, but you can go to the google play store and download more for free. The battery life seems to go about10 days with normal use, which is nice. It syncs with my phone fine and doesn’t loose connection. It also linked with Alexa easily. The only con I can see at this point is the auto on faeture which controls the display with your wrist movement. I have mine on sensitive but sometimes it does’nt come on and I have to push the button to see the display. Other than that I like it and will keep it. I haven’t used the sleep feature yet but I have no reason to suspect it doesn’t work just fine.

Almost great
For the price point, it’s a decent watch. However, you should be prepared for death by 1,000 small programming stupidities. An example: If you have the screen set to be off, to extend battery life, you might expect that one of the two giant buttons on the side of the watch would turn the watch face on so you can check the time. That makes too much sense!! Instead, if you hit a button to check the time, it will open your app menu. If you hit the other, it will open some other function. You can change the function of these two buttons to do just about anything EXCEPT show you the watch face. So the only solution is to hit the button, turn the watch on, and then hit the button again to exit out of the app menu and check the time. How this makes sense to anyone is beyond me.Oh, you want another example? How about the fact that someone thought it would be clever to have the watch face fade in slowly rather than simply appear? That’s right, if you want to just glance at your watch quickly to see the time, forget it. You have to wait for this animation to slowly fade the watch into view. If you’re in a meeting and want to steal a quick look, you’re out of luck. Your colleagues will see you staring at your watch and waiting for the blinkered animation to fade the clock into view, they’ll assume you hate your job, and then you’ll be fired and have to sell your house to pay the bills and eventually end up living in your car down by the river. All because someone in China thought it would be cute to make the watch fade in rather than just appear. Who knows how many lives will be ruined by this?Your only option, if you want to hang onto your job and your sanity, is to leave the watch face on all the time, which will drain the battery much faster an obviate the utility of having such a nice long battery life in the first place. But at least you won’t end up homeless. You’ve been warned!Otherwise, a very fine watch.

Love it!
Using with OnePlus 10 Pro.Very nice watch with nice build quality, easy functionality.Fast and smooth OS.Comfortable to wear.Very light, especially for it’s size and aluminum body. I don’t even notice it.Aside from the ZEPP app, you can download the AmazFaces app for a mind boggling number of FREE watch faces. The sensors work well. It doesn’t have to be strapped on so it strangles your wrist. I can back off one strap notch from my previous Moto. At the buckle, I can slide my little finger under it and the sensors work fine.It was a bit confusing to set up with a Oneplus 10 Pro, but that’s mostly because I jumped from Android 9 to 13 with the new phone. Android is where the problem was, not the watch.I had to complete setting it up by going into „Special Permissions“ under app management in the phone after already setting permissions. The main problem was getting the phone feature to work.I guess Android just wants to make life more difficult. Thanks Android! At least I got to test the stress test function of the watch. It works just fine!Knock it off Android!!!Anyway, after setup I couldn’t be more pleased. The watch gives me little nudges to get me off my butt more often. That’s really nice when your 60+.I should mention that the YouTubers are a little misleading as there is no ECG/EKG feature for the U.S..It has been released in China. Why not here? More than likely the FDA is the culprit. They’ll approve all kinds of meds we see on tv that may kill you, but no ECG/EKG on a watch.I did originally buy the watch for that feature, but I’m very pleased with all the other features.Another thing is Samsung watches can be fussy about what phone you use. They want you to stay in their stupid Samsung Family. This goes for Apple and their family of products too.If you have a Samsung or Apple phone, this watch will probably work fine, but you won’t have access to certain Samsung or Apple features. You may not even care about those features. Do your research before buying. On the other hand, with my OnePlus 10 Pro, everything works great! There are very affordable cases with built in screen protectors for these watches that work quite well. You can get a pack of 5 or 6 different colors for under $15. They easily snap on and off so you can change the look whenever you want. Bands are 22mm and are easily changed too. The leather band that came with my watch was okay but I wanted silicone for more comfort and water resistance.I’m definitely going to buy another Amazfit when’s the time comes.

Returning – No resolution from Amazfit support
I purchased because of positive reviews and a $20 off coupon. I do not have an ‚axe to grind‘. I simply want to let folks know to read very carefully, and PRINT Amazfit’s watch features stated on their Amazon Store page just in case someone experiences a similar situation after purchasing. One of the features on the order page at time of my ordering, was, blood pressure monitoring. The watch does not have this feature.I contacted Amazon support who verified what I said. They attempted to contact Amazfit support and were not successful.Amazon support did what they could and they then sent me a link to Amazfit’s support page for me to write to them. The next day, I heard from Amazfit and they asked for proof of my statement in for form of a copy of the screen-page. I went online to „print screen“ the page and the „BP“ feature was gone from the description, as well as the sale price.I sent them the email that Amazon support had sent me as proof that Amazon did try to help me. But it did not help.Amazfit informed me that the BP feature is only available in a very small number of Asian counties and not in the USA. Without „proof“ I was no-where’s.Perhaps I looked at a unit being sold in India or, perhaps Amazfit changed the description. I’ll never know. But with putting the burden on me it’s not a pleasing experience.I informed Amazfit that I will be returning the GTR 3 Pro. … No response from them. It’s just as well. Amazfit’s stock price 2-years ago was $15.00 a share. Today it’s $1.25 a share! How much lower could it possibly go?Their watches are getting more and more expensive yet, their stock price has plummeted. I do not want to be left with a useless smartwatch if something happens to the company. And I hope nothing negative happens to the company. And with the new models they’ve released, perhaps their stock price will rise?It saddens me because the watch appears to be of good quality. The App is very good, as is the battery longevity.Good luck if you decide to purchase an Amazfit smartwatch.

Upset Alexa doesnt support texting on this expensive watch
Only gives you pre-fab quick response options in response to a text. Alexa allows you to send a call, but you can’t compose a text… Why leave an important feature like this out Amazon? Could have been a 5 star!

Lasts all week.
I love it. I love the way it looks, the way it feels to the touch, the smoothness of the curved edge, the thumbwheel scroll button, the weather clock face, alexa built it and it’s own on board voice commands for opening apps, setting timers alarms, turn on flashlight, volume up/down, brightness up/down and on and on.The best part of all is the battery life. I stopped using the monitoring features after about a year. I just didn’t use them and don’t like sleeping with one on anymore. But while I was using all features it lasted 4-5 days. With all of them turned off it lasts just over a week.

At First Disappointed, But Then Pleasantly Amazed!
Please take note: This review ultimately ends with a positive impression and I would easily recommend this as a purchase. This review covers my experience with the first watch I ordered, and then the subsequent replacement.FIRST TRY: Wow. What a disappointment. Just received mine in the mail yesterday. Opened it, charged it, synced it to the app and tried it on.So far the most basic features are accurate. Time, weather, Bluetooth calls and messages, notifications. Even the compass and barometer work. Connecting through Bluetooth was fairly seamless. I’m not sure the step counter is all that accurate. It seems… sluggish, to say the least. The biggest problem with this watch is the one that will matter to most anyone who buys it. The sensor/s. Either they aren’t strong enough, or they don’t work well enough to be accurate. This watch only has one visible sensor that is presumably supposed to perform all the functions that this watch claims to have.I happen to have an Amazfit GTS 2e, and a Mobvoi Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS. Both watches have a total of five sensors, and reliably track heart rate, breathing and other stats. This GTR 3 Pro is still fairly new, and should perform better than it does, but so far… it’s not great.I’ve only been able to get the sensor to work in one of two ways. One is by wearing it with the sensor directly over the underside of my wrist, where you take your pulse. The other is by pressing my finger over the sensor, which clearly is not ideal. The other oddity is that while the watch’s weather app works perfectly, AND accurately detects your location, the GPS refuses to work when starting a workout like a simple walk. There’s a ton of apps on the watch, and even more available through the Zepp App. But so far, the only fitness feature that works smoothly is the pedometer. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get a device to work.I’ve had a mostly good experience with my Amazfit GTS 2e, so I thought this newer watch would be better by leaps and bounds. So far, the only thing that is better is the design, and the gorgeous display. That’s a shame, because right now there are $30 smartwatches on Amazon that perform just as well, or better than this one.Reading through the reviews for Amazfit devices doesn’t inspire much confidence. Although many of the devices have four and a half stars, that’s usually based on a small number of reviews, and it’s usually just over half that give those high marks. A little less than half usually express disappointment for the same issues. Poor performance and accuracy for the one thing these watches are supposed to do. Track health & fitness.I’m going to keep testing this thing for a week. Maybe the watch will perform better once broken in a bit. As of now, I couldn’t recommend this watch to anyone. This watch used to be over $200. Now it’s a little over $100. Maybe the poor functionality is why.First Update: I’ve now used this thing for four days. The GPS finally worked on a six mile walk. Unfortunately, because the sensor was not detecting any heart rate, the only data I got from that walk was steps counted, distance, and the speed at which I was walking. I couldn‘ even get a PAI score because of heart rate tracking being absent.I had to shave a small area of baby fine hairs on my wrist, and reboot the watch before it finally began reading heart rate, and I’m not even sure it was accurate. My Ticwatch usually shows my resting heart rate hovering around 96 BPM. The GTR 3 showed a resting rate of roughly 76 BPM.Even so, tracking of my vitals only lasted for about two hours, and then stopped for no reason. It didn’t come back for an entire day, until I restarted the watch once more. I’ve never had these issues with my Ticwatch, but my Amazfit GTS 2e has been tricky like this. This doesn’t speak well for the Amazfit brand. On the positive side, even after four days with all tracking and features turned on, I still have 54% of battery left. Flicking my wrist brings the screen to life with ease. The touch screen can be sluggish or clunky sometimes. I’ll do one last update before deciding whether I’ll return this thing.Final Update : It dawned on me that I may have just gotten a defective unit. I returned it and received a replacement in three days. Now, everything works perfectly, and then some. The battery life alone is quite extraordinary. Six days straight with all features turned on before I needed to recharge. All tracking feels accurate. Syncing was smooth and without any glitches. Alexa works perfectly.Considering that even premium WearOS smartwatches have had Google Assistant pulled from them, Amazfit and Apple watches are the only option outside of WearOS that offer a useful Assistant app. The display, the battery life, and even the app support on Amazfit devices is better than what WearOS is offering. In my mind, Amazfit is the only true alternative to an Apple Watch.

Full of features and an awesome battery
I’ve had my GTR 3 Pro for about two weeks. This is my first ever smart watch or fitness tracker, I’m not an athlete, and so far I’m very happy with this watch. I can’t imagine needing more workout options or settings or features… too many to list and review here. I use the Android Zepp app on my Samsung phone and there’s a lot of information in the app and it’s pretty intuitive to me; you use the phone app do most of the watch settings and see the super-detailed health and workout data, just make sure to keep the app running all the time. That means now your phone’s bluetooth is always on, something new to me but I suppose not for a lot of people. If you’re away from your phone, it all syncronizes the next time the watch and phone connect. The battery and price were my main reasons for choosing this watch (and it’s round, like a watch should be). The battery is no joke: I think the manufacturer promises around 12 days, and after nine days it was at 14%. I logged a workout each day, made and answered a few phone calls, slept overnight with it on once, replied to texts, kept it connected to the phone, never turned it off, left most if not all of the default settings (screen NOT always on, heart rate every 10 minutes), and played with it a lot. No doubt results will vary. Just a couple hours to re-charge. I’ve read about high-brow ($$$) watches being charged once or even twice a day… that’s a non-starter for me. I keep the big and responsive screen at about 15% brightness but it is on auto-brightness so you can see it out in the sun. GPS seems accurate after looking at the maps of my walks in the app… start an outside workout, tap start and give it 15 seconds or so to catch the GPS signal, the phone vibrates and you’re off. Works everytime. I pretty much take the watch’s word for it as far as heart rate, steps, calories and the rest of the fitness and health features. I have nothing to compare it to so works for me. The description says includes wifi but it isn’t anything you can use like you might think or turn on or off as you please… might just be for transferring music to the watch. With just the companion Zepp app on your phone, you can make and answer phone calls with the watch’s built-in microphone and speaker. And you can reply to text messages either with an emoji or from a selection of pre-set responses that you can edit or add to (you make/edit these using the Zepp app on your phone, they’re syncronized to the watch, and the responses appear on your watch when you tap reply to a text). Works great. You can’t create a text with the watch (maybe thru Alexa, not sure). There’s a little app store in the Zepp phone app (maybe 20 apps), where you can download small apps to the watch (stocks, calculator, etc.). I am an Alexa newbie but it also works fine. Set-up is a bit clunky using the manual and Zepp app but after going through the process a couple times it works. We don’t have anything else Alexa in the house so still figuring out what to do with her besides weather, lists, etc.I’m still using the supplied brown band… not sure if it’s really leather but it is comfy and looks good. I was worried most about the large size of the watch with my skinny wrists, but it looks ok even with a separate cover that adds a couple mm to the overall size. I had a cover over the whole watch before I ever turned it on, so I can’t comment on scratch resistance and such. I immediately cover all my devices and screens and there are several protection options on Amazon. By the way it can be worn on the right wrist, too, by swapping the band around and settings to flip the screen and buttons. Easy peezy. I’ve loaded over 200 MP3s to the watch and have over 1G memory left. It connects perfectly to my cheap bluetooth ear buds and so far stays connected. The watch comes with about five or six watch faces pre-installed, but through the Zepp app on your phone you can download more. A lot of them cost a couple bucks but I can’t count the free ones. Loading a new face onto your watch takes a couple of taps and it’s installed and active on your watch. I’ve downloaded one of the several separate phone apps just for Amazfit faces and it offers hundreds more for free and works great. I can’t imagine anyone wanting more free watch faces, they just don’t all come pre-installed on the watch. Nor should they, taking up memory space. Delete and download new faces as you feel the need for change. On the negative side I have yet to get the offline voice commands to do anything. These are built-in voice commands that let you speak to open apps and control some watch features. They are separate from talking to Alexa, which works fine for me. I haven’t really sought a solution yet because it’s just too easy to get to everything on the watch by swiping or rotating the crown button. The Zepp app does use a good chunk of phone memory… whenever I check it is using between 600 and 800MB of internal storage. Could be alot for some phones and I’ve no idea if the app can be moved to external phone storage. Hopefully it can. I recommend keeping an open mind when reading some of the negative reviews based on one or two features out of the 50 things the watch does (like 1-star reviews because the customer doesn’t like having to use the rotating crown to navigate the display, or couldn’t get an old watch’s face on this new watch, or too hard to install watch faces (no… it’s super easy), or one feature it doesn’t even advertise it can do but it „should“ do… I don’t understand one-star reviews like that). Overall it’s a great smart watch value with a long list of useful features.UPDATEAfter I had the watch for weeks I learned there are watchfaces with tap-able/shortcut spots on them, that’ll take you directly to different apps in the watch… steps, weather, heart, alarms, etc. And, if you tap on the city name in the weather app you can select other cities that are in the weather section of the Zepp app on your phone. I did that accidentally one day. I had no idea.

Great watch but with one flaw
I’ve had he watch about 3 weeks and only charged it once and it still has 21% of the battery, so the battery is great. It also does a lot of things. Under normal conditions the Heart Beat monitor seems to be pretty accurate, but I swim with it in the pool and the heart rate monitor seems to go crazy and it indicates that my heart rate throughout a 27 minute swim averages 167 with a max of 197. There is no way this 80 year old heart is going to pump like that. I know when I am on a treadmill how hard it is to get it up to 120, so I know that my gentle swim in the morning is not making the ole pump go close to 200 beats. On the other hand it does monitor the laps pretty accurately and it also gives you your average speed and stroke speed, tells workout time, total strokes, etc. One other issue is that it thinks I’m doing the back stroke when I’m just doing the plain old crawl stroke. All the other features seem to work really good, but I have only tried the bicycle and swim workout aps.

Love love love!!!
The Amazfit GTR3 Pro smart watch deserves 5+ stars! I’m loving it. It is the best smart watch for the money in my opinion. I am a protectionist so I normally buy name brand things because they are normally better, for the most pay at least. But one of the main reasons I chose this is the battery life. A Google or Samsung watch has to be recharged every day. I along with most people charge their devices at night. But if you charge at night you can not make use of the sleep analysis which is one of the most important features for me. It says the GTR 3 Pro last for 12 days, what a huge difference! I got mine 04/22/2024, it’s now 05/01/2024 and the battery level is at 13%. I also have all the high battery use features (minus always on display) turned on so that is impressive. The display is high quality-very clear, vibrant, and bright. Another reason why I choose this is because it has Alexa built in. It’s very handy to have especially if you have a lot of smart devices. I really like how the top side button is a scroll wheel to easily navigate thru text messages, notifications, menus etc.. The Zepp app is awesome. The Aura feature inside Zepp app is amazing! It’s very advanced, it plays brain frequencies, heart beat, melodies, and nature sounds to help you sleep, meditate, it just relax. What makes it so advanced and special is it monitors you as it plays different sounds and finds what sounds effect you the most and uses those to help you fall asleep faster. It works way better than I imagined it would. It works so well I end up sleeping with my ear buds in all night. I normally listen to sleep hypnosis videos on YouTube and remove my ear buds whenever I wake up for the first time during the night. With Aura I don’t wake up any to be able to take the ear buds off. That speaks volumes. I could go on and on but if you want a good smart watch this is 100% the one to get!!

Quality watch
This is watch is one of the best android watches. The reason I said it was the Best is because it is fully waterproof, it has a bunch of different apps and games you can download (in my opinion Zepp pong is the best game) in conclusion it’s cheaper than apple watch and works better, it is easy to to set up, the watch band is comfortable, the screen is amazing, and it works on both apple and android. The only downside is that you have to pay for certain each faces (you don’t have to pay for custom watch faces)

Excellent smartwatch
I’ve had this watch about a month and a half. Excellent. I had a fitbit inspire 2, for several years. The watch is hard plastic and in changing out the bands, a piece broke off, rendering it un-usable. I thought it was a good time to upgrade to more of a smartwatch and looked at Galaxy watches, etc., but those price tags were too much, plus their battery last was give or take 1 day. Given the fact that Fitbit was bought by Google and they plan to phase those out, I didn’t want to I also didn’t want a cheap watch that I was going to have to replace every couple of years. I wanted a metal watch (to avoid the issue with a piece breaking off), I wanted it to have the fitness capability, and I preferred it to have the phone connections. I spent a lot of time looking and googling for reviews. This one is great. The battery lasts a long time, not quite 2 weeks, and I have several apps enabled. I have let it get down almost to zero so I could see how long I could get off one charge, and even with low battery (leas than 10%), it still lasts all day while I’m work, etc. It also charges quickly.I have used it answer the phone and reply to texts (I have an android). I enabled notifications as well as several of the fitness apps. I’ve used the Breathe app at night before bed. Sleeps seems to track well. I didn’t realize it had features like a compass and a barometer. It reminds me to get up and walk, etc.I like that it is round vs square. It is a large face, but I have large large wrists and hands and it fits well. I got several compliments at work. I highly recommend this watch.

Battery life doesn’t last
April 6, 2024: Update, I reached out to customer service because, well, the battery problem is simply unacceptable for only having it for just over a year. Let me preface how it is used: I wear it 24/7, but use it to 1) look at texts/calls as they come in 2) check the time, 3) use the stop watch for about 20 minutes a day total and 4) find my phone. Most of these features I only use about 5 times a week. I don’t use it to play games or really much of anything that would suck the battery up too badly. So when I reached out to customer service their response was very obviously automated asking me to troubleshoot the problem. No issue. When I did and said more or less, „it is pretty obviously the battery“, they essentially reiterated ways I could try to „save“ the battery life, with another automated response. Suggestions included:Please refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot the issue:1) The watch charging takes about 2.5 hours, please confirm whether your watch is fully charged;2) The battery life may vary according to settings, usage, climatic temperature, and other factors. So the actual result may differ from the laboratory data.3) The more power-consuming applications in the watch will also shorten the battery life. Please also check whether the watch is with the latest firmware. If not, please upgrade the watch and observe the battery performance;Note: The following apps would cause fast power consumption: screen display, sleep breathing quality, frequent use of Bluetooth phones or listening to music (if supported), the Screen-on Duration for too long, too many notification reminders, Always On Display enabled, GPS for a long time Exercise, turn on Auto Blood Oxygen Monitor, etc.4) Then please do the following settings to see if the watch battery life will improve.* Set the Response speed of Lift wrist to view info function to Normal mode* Turn off the Always On Display* Disable Sleep breathing quality monitoring* Disable Auto Stress Monitoring* Disable Auto Blood Oxygen Monitor* Change the Screen-on Duration time to 5 seconds* Do not choose any Wake-up Mode for Offline Voice ControlIt has now been 4 days since that reply, at which point I reiterated that it is very obviously an issue with the battery and disabling any and all of the above „suggestions“ would defeat the purpose of having a smartwatch. I’m still waiting on a response. Changing my review to a one star because of the customer service.March 31, 2024: I’ve had this watch for over a year, 16 months to be exact. All of a sudden the battery life just tanked, despite using it exactly the same as I always have in the past. It’s battery life is okay but only lasts about half as long as it used to.Additionally, it has issues with notifications where it will continue to display text notifications that I’ve already read and acknowledged. Again, not a big deal but annoying.Overall, it is an okay watch. I’m not sure if I intend to continue using it moving forward or if I will get something different.

Not all activities sync with the app. Buggy software.
Bought GTS 3 a few days ago and put it through my own (un)scientific test. Here are the results:GPS for Distance tracking:This is the best part of this watch. The distance tracking with built in GPS is right on the button. Very consistent and very accurate. Tested in school and YMCA outdoor running tracks where the exact distance per lap is officially known. This GPS not only showed the distance accurately but was consistent lap after lap. I tested it along with my Versa 2 which used my phone’s GPS, and also with Strava installed on my phone. In these GPS accuracy tests, the GTS 3 was No.1, Versa 2, and Strava 3. The Versa 2 was well within the tolerable range with a deviation of about 0.01 to 0.03 per .25 miles, and I got the same deviation for the full mile as compared to GTS 3. Very acceptable variation for amateur athlete.Watch Interface:Watch interface is ok, takes a bit of getting used to. The Crown shortcut feature is almost a necessity with so many screens scrolling in this watch. Yes, there are a couple of nice watch faces but that shouldn’t be a decision maker. I liked Versa 2’s watch interface better. It is intuitive, direct, and brief.Zepp app:Very very non-intuitive, cumbersome, and buggy. Takes some time to understand it well. Even though Versa app isn’t very intuitive, after using the Zepp app, it suddenly seems a lot better. The Deal Breaker:On amazfit GTS 3, not all the activities recorded on the watch synced to the zepp app. Some activities failed to sync. I got a message on the watch that certain activities were not synced to the app. I googled for the troubleshooting info and found out that this ib fact has been a known issue. In fact, Amazfit has posted the steps on how to solve this synching problem, (Clear the Bluetooth cache on the phone, logoff from the zepp app and sign back, restart the phone, etc.)I followed all the steps diligently but the un-synced activities remained un-synced.Thinking perhaps this is one off software glitch, I did the factory reset on the watch, deleted the zepp app, and reinstalled it on my phone, restarted the phone, and took the watch for another round of tests. Again, some activities did not get synced. Finally, I called the amazfit tech support for help. They said that I had done all the troubleshooting correctly, and this could likely be a software issue. They asked me to provide all the information in the Feedback field of the app and also to attach a screenshot of the message that says that certain number of activities were not synced. The tech guy said the developers would review it and fix the issue. Ugghh. If I am right, amazfit started customizing the Zepp app for GTS 3 but I think they brought it out to the market before thoroughly testing it. The software is very buggy even if the GTS 3 is a decent watch. My Opinion:What is the point of buying a smart watch that cannot transfer all your activities from the smart watch to the app for further analysis? This was certainly a deal breaker for me.Based on my own personal experience, I am returning the GTS 3 and staying with my Versa 2. May even consider getting a GTS 2 which has many more features like music, phone calls, etc., and which (I think) used the old Zepp app. I’m not certain that synching isn’t an issue on GTS 2 though.Hope this review helps.

What do you want a watch to do?
This is my first smart watch. I have resisted for a while I like my analog time pieces they do what I need and are reliable and for sure not needy, still what do you want a watch to do? My phone keeps the time and I keep my phone close. There are clocks all over my house and work, more and more I would only put on a watch in formal situations.I found myself wanting a way to develop better habits. To do that I thought it would be helpful to track biometric data. It would also be great to have reminders to stretch or walk about and a way to look back on changes.Amazfit has a huge range of choices, starting at 30 bucks up to the hundreds of dollars. I caught a sale and got the last gen GTR3 for close to 100 bucks. So far I am impressed. The watch does a lot by itself. There are multiple screens and controls so I need to look at my phone less. I can even update it using Wifi and not need a phone synched. It comes with an app Zepp. The app fits the watch best as though you can sync the data with Google Fit there are many more functions available using Zepp. It comes with a wide range of watch faces for free, though you can pay to have even more choices. It has apps for the watch,if you find yourself in need of such things. The biometrics seem to be accurate, I know others standards for heart rate, or blood oxy, or sleep tracking are much higher but for me they seem to work well enough.I hope the durability is good. I know it will not last for 5 or 10 years. Actually I would be happy to get two years out of it.

Must buy!
Gave my son my Apple Watch a few months ago. I wasn’t using a lot, and he really wanted one. After about a month, I started looking for a new watch. Missed the activity trackers, phone, etc. But I didn’t want to spend $350 + on an AppleWatch. This one seemed great. GPS. All kind of trackers. Phone connectivity.AND it was only $120!Love the workout apps, the face selections, the sleek design, sleep trackers, GPS, and phone connectivity. Haven’t figured out how / if I can get texts, but not real chuffed.Just put it on the charger for the first time.UPDATE. Took it to the beach and it performed spectacularly all day in the water. Accident when we headed back, and I had to drive the jet ski for the hour plus ride back. Then boat troubles hit, then the temp dropped and the seas became angry that day my friend. Then torrential rain. Separated from the boat, I used my compass to go where I knew I needed to be. Slow going, high seas, poor visibility and the “low gas” light came on. Knew I had to see if Icould avoid being dead in the water. Wrongly cussed the captain for leaving me and we all had a laugh after I warmed up. ĶJTime, activity, biometrics just work well. Based on some reviews, some are panning the sleep track. I’ve found it valuable.Lost 8 lbs since having this watch.Overall great product?Solid purchase!’
